Ebolable is a pretty good counter to it, Liquid Ooze to deny Leech Seed stall and it resists it's only attacking move; Sludge Bomb. Very helpful mon if you're trying to speed through the pre E4 part of the game.

The issue is to me, Ebolable is a glass cannon, in a game that's pretty unforgiving to glass cannons. I've run ebolable before though, it's pretty good. To some extent I feel it has coverage overlap with Ejacasm and Im reticent to use it again because of that.

Yeah before the postgame area where it's easy to EV & IV train mons, glass cannons are pretty bad without a scarf, in my current run Ebolable is more of a specific support, Snarl & Acid Spray for the guaranteed stat drops where they're needed and Glare to shut down opposing glass cannons should they fail to one shot.

Yeah the other thing Ive run into is that with how min-maxed some required battles are you sometimes have to train up specific counter mons that arnt part of your normal team.
