These are the first visuals I made for the look of the Wamezaji (sing. a wamezaje, plur. wamezaji).
I tried to see what kind of clothes they could wear, flat belly AND full belly. Figured out really soon that bones, skulls, teeth etc. were going to be play a big part in their culture/look since... well, they eat peoples and animals. I already knew back then that I wanted their leader to be some kind of religious figure, considered as a divine incarnation of the "gods" by the other members of the tribe.
