What is Mana Degeneration'?
Mana Degeneration is a physical disability within a magic user in this world I've made. It is something that someone is born with. It varies in severity, and tends to get worse over time if gone untreated. It is how the mana generating organ of said magic user fails to generate their own mana on a consistent basis or at all. Symptoms are drowsiness, feeling physically slow or sluggish, an overall body numbness. Severe cases can cause light headed ness, fainting and can even cause death if the user were to run out of mana and be unable to generate more.

How it is treated?
Mana Degeneration can be treated by consuming things that could give the user mana. Such as food crafted with high content of mana, or more commonly mana potions (or another mana user). Only specific magic users can help treat the symptoms of themselves. These magic users are called mystics.

Mystics?
Mystics are rare magic users that can see the flow of magic within another user when they use their magic on them. born typically 1 in 1million. They also have the ability to transfer mana directly to the effected persons mana organ, much like helping ease the organ into working order for a temporary period. it is not permanent and the organ will slowly shift back to its normal state.

Mana Super-generation Mystics?
Mana Super-generation is an even rarer version of a mystic, born typically 1 in ever 4 billion. These individuals hold all other traits of a normal mystic but also have an overactive mana organ. Though unlike Mana Degeneration this does not have any side effects, as the extra mana is leaked into the aura around them. This is also very helpful when helping treat Mana Degeneration, as they can help more effected individuals more often than other mystics.

Sora is a mystic. Briar suffers from Mana Degeneration.
