Comet Glare

Physical description:
Comet is noticeably bigger than normal mares thanks to her protein-rich diet and increased testosterone levels. She is in good shape and has plenty of muscles on par with stallions. She has ginger coat and red mane she trims short both for convenience at work and as a protest against conventional fashion.

Personality:
Comet is a loner. Silent and glum when sober, loud and rowdy when drunk. She is overfilled with repressed anger and resentment, and it's best not to see her dark side. She loves stargazing and flying at night to be closer to the stars and farther away from other ponies. She lifts her guard only in the tiny circle of close friends, showing genuine care and compassion for them.

Internal conflicts:
Comet suffers from hunger which can't be satisfied with regular food. The hungrier she gets - the more irritable and aggressive she becomes. She tried to hold back when she was young, but in a few months she snapped and devoured her only friend. Since that day she embraced the necessity to eat ponies every now and then, even if she hates herself for that.

External conflicts:
Comet's punky appearance and grumpy character scares away other ponies, leading to life in misery and solitude. Her drinking and feeding habits don't make it any better, leading to permanent troubles with the local authorities and a necessity to move every few months.

Due to Comet's past trauma, she is very hesitant to eat willing preys. Especially if those preys are her few friends. Even if they use magic which guarantees their survival, she is always afraid that something could go wrong.

Bio

Childhood:
Comet Glare was born in Cloudsdale with a not-so-little 'feature'. Because of it, she could never fit in any collective and faced lots of bullying in her filly-hood. But as she grew older, she noticed the advantages of her condition. Her body outgrown any mare and even some of the stallions, and her physical strength matched her size. She still couldn't fit in, but now it wasn't her problem anymore.

Youth:
Like many other pegasi, Comet dreamed to join the Wonderbolts. She even succeeded thanks to her natural talent for flight and extraordinary endurance. Her parents were relieved once the rowdy young mare left their home. Too bad she was kicked out in disgrace for systematic insubordination and bullying her teammates in just a month.

There aren't many career paths in Cloudsdale, so the best years of Comet's youth passed at the Weather Factory. Her paycheck was barely enough to rent a place to live. Eventually, she got so sick and tired of stirring rainbows in cauldrons that decided to leave Cloudsdale altogether in search of a better future.

Adulthood:
Like a fallen star, Comet now lives on the ground. The harsh reality there isn't much better than in the skies. She doesn't have a regular job and makes a living by doing gigs.

Wherever she stays, ponies start mysteriously disappearing at night. To stay out of suspicion, Comet regularly moves between Ponyville, Appleloosa, Manehattan and even Canterlot.

She offers her services as a contract worker, mostly for menial work. In Ponyville and Appleloosa, she helps the Apple family on the farm. In Manehattan, she hauls cabs, and in Canterlot, she helps to lift heavy blocks to reconstruct the walls.

In her abundant leisure time, she mostly naps, gets drunk when she has money for that and flies, occasionally crushing into other ponies' property. She loves stargazing and flying at night to be closer to the stars and farther from the other ponies.
