Latrice Carter was once a notorious underground belly fighter in the city of Urbs Gulosis. She was unstoppable in the ring and undefeated until she was approached by the Cartel de barriga hinchada to take a dive in a championship fight. She refused, and as punishment, the cartel`s leader devoured and digested her brother. Filled with Rage, she vowed to devoured every last member of the Cartel and anyone that stood in her way. This Rage left her open to becoming the perfect vessel for the spirit of Wrath Ira

As a vessel for Ira, she became imbued with magic powers that allow the Sinful sibling to exact her revenge on the world and her sister Gula for trapping her. This leads Latrice, known as Spitfire in conflicts with the Maw as she has no problems using destruction and devouring innocents to achieve her goal. The latter is mostly due to Ira's influence.

Under the mantle of Spitfire, Latrice carriers Ira's undying Rage around inside of her, quite literally. Reflecting Ira's constant anger, Spitfire live with never ending upset stomach, heartburn and indigestion due to the tumultuous storm of Ira's anger in her tummy. This is quite uncomfortable for her but gives her the ability to belch flames and spew fireballs at her enemies. Her roiling guts also have the ability to transform those she eats into wrath imps that can be regurgitated as her minions
