Shantae sighed to herself… Rocking back and forth on her hammock, the waves crashing outside, seagulls calling out in the distance, the beach wind rustling outside leaves… It was such a peaceful day today…

Nevermind. Shantae’s eyes blinked open, still half asleep and groggy from her nap. She listened for a moment. There wasn’t any need for her to jump to conclusions, perhaps it was just a-
 
 
CRASH BANG-
 
 
“Nope, that's definitely not normal.” Shantae swung her legs over the side of her hammock, standing up. She grinned to herself, “Alright! Let’s see who’s butt needs kicking!” She jumped onto the rope, sliding down to the first floor of the lighthouse, before she ran confidently to the door, swinging it open, and took a step forward outside. Feeling the heated sand between her toes, the warm sun now bathing her entire body in its warming light… She breathed in as she felt a cool breeze against her bare body…
 
 
Wait.
 
 
Bare body?
 
 
Shantae blinked. Before slowly looking down at herself. Her face went a bright red as she realized she wasn’t wearing any clothes. She quickly took a step back inside and slammed the door. Look, she was already well known for wearing an outlandish outfit but she wasn’t quite at the point of going streaking. She quickly ran over to where she kept her clothing, only to find it entirely empty?
 
 
“Eh?” She tilted her head in confusion… Before her confused expression turned to an annoyed grimace, “Right. Laundry.” She groaned as she had been putting off her chores for so long that she had literally nothing else to wear. A thought popped into her head… Well… That wasn’t QUITE true actually. She opened up a different drawer to find that glistening armor. Somehow even MORE revealing than her normal outfit, with a golden top that barely left anything to the imagination. And the bottom with only a single metal heart covering her nether region, with a long blue silken veil on the other side. Granted the outfit did give a great boost to her magic, and Shantae herself didn’t overly care about the lack of modesty. ‘Well… Time to cosplay as a space princess again!” She smiled to herself… Still there was one part missing…
 
 
She glanced around and saw it. The headpiece. The golden snake stared right at her from its place on the shelf. Those jeweled red eyes staring back into hers, almost as if drawing her in to mesmerize her… Shantae didn’t give it a second thought.
 
 
She picked up the metal garments and pulled them out of the drawer, “Alright! Let’s do- hmm?” As she picked up the pieces of her magic outfit, she saw that under the blue silken veil there was some of her normal clothing, messily strewn about. “Ah!” Shantae dropped her outfit and clapped her hands together. She must have tossed in the outfit she was putting away her clothing! She quickly grabbed her red top, tying it around her chest. Her breasts were squished against the fabric, pressing upwards as they were supported now. Finally her pants, which while at least covered the entirety of legs, stooped way below acceptable levels of her revealed midriff. Finally her two golden bracelets, tiara and earrings, and Shantae was ready to go!
 
 
“Alright! Take two of going to see who’s butt needs kicking!” Shantae once again ran out of her house, this time now wearing actual clothes.
 
 
After a minute she arrived in Scuttle Town, and saw what she was facing. Tinkerbats. They were in the midst of smashing windows and food carts, causing general chaos with no goal. She scowled, “Of course Risky-Boots is behind this!? What are you lot after now!?” They all turned towards the half genie, and the moment they saw her, they all booked it. Taking whatever they were holding with them. Whether it be food, random furniture or jewels.
 
 
“Oh no you don’t!” Shantae began to give chase, using her magic and other various powers to take out most of them. She ran through the entire town, cutting off escapes, defeating them one by one. There were just too many though, and a few broke through the town limits and made a break for the jungle. She fired a few fireballs and took them out… Except for one. Watching it scurry off into the foliage. She squinted her eyes to see what it was holding… A piece of paper? She sighed, well, whatever it grabbed couldn’t have been that important now, could it? She began to walk back into town, where people were already fixing the damages.
 
 
She began to tie up the knocked out Tinkerbats when she heard a voice behind her, “Oh Shantae! Excellent work!” Shantae turned around to see a familiar face.
 
 
“Thanks Mayor Scuttlebutt!” Shantae beamed, glad for once that she was being praised and not blamed for the chaos in the town.
 
 
The mayor was pushing his fingers together, “Say, by chance you haven’t seen the deed to the town lying about, have you?”
 
 
“...The deed to the town?” Shantae tilted her head, confused.
 
 
“Right right! One of the tinkerbats stole it! Those dastardly villains!” the Mayor huffed.
 
 
“No I haven’t seen anything like… that…” Shantae trailed off as her mind flashed to the one Tinkerbat holding that paper. Shantae just blinked in silence… Before standing up, “I-I’ll go start looking for it right now! Probably just slid under some fallen wood! OKAY BE RIGHT BACK!” Shantae BOLTED for the town edge, not slowing down until she reached where she was just a few minutes ago. She looked over the jungle, “Uhhhhh… That way!” She picked what she thought was the direction the Tinkerbat ran in, and gave chase, soon vanishing from view into the dense jungle…
 
 
Little did Shantae know that would be the last time anyone from Scuttle Town ever saw their beloved Half-Genie Guardian ever again…
 
 
…
 
 
Kaa rested on a sturdy exposed branch, letting the sun soak and warm his scales. He lazily lay on the branch, chuckling to himself as he looked at the hat he was twirling on the tip of his tail…
 
 
That woman had been such a feisty girl, and put up quite the fight, but she was no match for his hypnotic gaze, and soon she had found herself where meat like her belongs. Gurgling away inside his stomach~
 
 
Come to think of it, it had been quite the tale of how he had gotten here.
 
 
He had been resting on a different beach when he saw the ship dock near the shore. Weird, considering there was a town with ports just about a mile away, but whatever. Normally he wouldn’t have given it a second thought as he had a much closer goal to focus on… As on that beach, not even 20 feet away was a group of girls in bikinis playing volleyball in the sand. He was patiently waiting for one of them to come just a little too close to the jungle… Whether it be one of them wandering in, or more likely hitting the ball in by accident… With such a sight in front of him, who had time to watch some random wooden ship?
 
 
Besides, ships were usually just full of big burly men that Kaa wanted absolutely nothing to do with. This however… This was different. As it had docked, multiple… Honestly Kaa didn’t even know WHAT to call them. They resembled humans but didn’t look anything like the ones he had grown accustomed to eating. So no need to pay it any more attention. They weren’t going to bother him anyways so no need to pay them any sort of attention. So his attention went back to the girls in front of him, and as luck would have it, two of them ran off towards the small town in the distance, leaving the third to watch over their stuff… Everything was falling right into place…
 
 
That all changed however as a flash of purple in the corner of his eye dragged Kaa’s attention away from the last remaining girl. He glanced over, and his jaw dropped. Walking down the gangplank was an absolutely stunning woman… Tight Pants that clung to her figure to show off her curves, a bra that perked her chest up… And that was really it aside from some jewelry. Everything else was fully exposed for the snake to gawk at. Even from this distance her beauty was plain to see. He had to eat her. No. He NEEDED to eat her.
 
 
A dull thud distracted him. He looked down, and saw the volleyball landing at the base of the tree he was in, hidden under a bush. A moment later the girl wandered into the forest, looking for the ball. It would be so easy to snatch her right up, hypnotize her so that she would be a perfect meal, and gulp her down so she’d never be seen again… She was practically serving herself on a dinner plate without knowing it.
 
 
What seemed like a gourmet meal however now seemed like garbage in comparison. Kaa simply watched as the girl grabbed her ball, and ran back out onto the beach. Oh no no no… Kaa had… Something else in mind~ SOMEONE else in mind~
 
 
The large python slowly began to slither along the edge of the jungle, and slowly the wooden ship grew in size as he grew ever closer… He now could see more. Those weird small humanoids with the red bandanas were loading crates onto the ship that more were carrying in from the direction of the town. Whatever their contents were was of little concern.
 
 
Kaa’s prize was the woman standing on the beach barking orders… Kaa thought of how to approach this… He doubted he was going to get lucky enough for her to just wander alone into the jungle where he was. And even if she for some reason did, while those humanoids didn’t look all that threatening, Kaa could still see the giant swords on their sides. No thank you.
 
 
On top of all that, he could see the end of the crates they would be loading, so he didn’t have much time. So… He made his move. He slithered out from the trees, and made a beeline towards the water. Staying far enough away that even if he was spotted, he wouldn’t be given a second glance. Sure enough, everyone was seemingly too busy, and the snake slipped into the water.
 
 
While Kaa could swim very well, he absolutely hated salt water. It was just dreadful on his scales, and he was quite eager to get out of it. Now hidden by the water, he found what he was looking for. The anchor. Wrapping himself around it, he slowly began to climb up the metal. It was a slow process, but one that ensured he was undetected.
 
 
After a few minutes, he made it on board. He began to slither around, looking for where the woman might be staying. Considering that she was shouting, it was clear to the snake that she held some importance on this ship.
 
 
Kaa soon found himself on the deck of the ship, with the weird humanoids still running around and loading. He hid behind some barrels… And simply observed. For a few minutes nothing really happened other than loading, but then the woman walked on the deck. She walked right up to where Kaa was, and Kaa thought his cover was blown. That is, until she grabbed the door handle next to him, and walked inside. Kaa just breathed out a sigh of relief…
 
 
Though he was instantly forced to suck in his breath again as she came out a moment later shouting, “Alright hurry it up! I want to be back in Sequin Land in 2 weeks! If even a single minute over that I’m throwing one of you overboard!”
 
 
Oooooh~ Feisty~ Kaa loved it when they fought back. Made it all the more satisfying when they inevitably succumbed to his gaze…
 
 
He quickly turned towards the door that was closing… And he stuck his tail in. Glancing around, he quickly tried to slither in, praying nobody would notice. Miraculously, nobody did… And a grin came to Kaa’s face. The actual bed in the corner vs just a strung up hammock among dozens was undeniable. This was her room.
 
 
From there Kaa slipped under her bed and waited…
 
 
Except she didn’t come back. And eventually, Kaa felt the ship begin to move… And he realized that wherever they were going, he was now going. Well, he was in too deep already, so he wasn’t going to back out now.
 
 
Finally, after hours the sun set, and the woman returned… Kaa made his move as her back was turned as she was setting her hat down on her desk… And well… The rest is history~
 
 
It had taken a bit of effort. Shockingly, the woman was in fact not calm or accepting of a giant snake appearing behind her. Luckily she had set down her own set of swords, so Kaa had no trouble restraining her, and then attracting her gaze~ Once fully submissive, Kaa relished in swallowing her down, and in just an hour, he was resting on her own bed as her bulge wriggled within him~
 
 
By morning, the bulge had already smoothed out, as his stomach worked over all the meat inside~
 
 
Though that now left Kaa with new problems. He was now on a ship to god knows where, and said ship was filled to the brim with sword wielding creatures that might not appreciate their captain was now soup sloshing around in his stomach.
 
 
Kaa decided that he might as well look around if he was gonna be stuck here anyways… Despite the numerous maps and notes that were on the desk, they were all useless to the snake due to the fact he couldn’t read. But… There was one thing that caught his attention. A standing board. And on it was a picture. A picture of a purple haired girl with darker skin. Kaa’s maw dropped again. This woman’s beauty put his current meal’s to absolute shame. Was this a friend perhaps? If that was the case she might come directly to him to find her friend…
 
 
Though given the knife sticking out of the photo that seemed unlikely.
 
 
Kaa began looking around the board, and saw a symbol that looked like the ship. It followed a dotted line… And a smile came to Kaa’s face as that dotted line went exactly to where this new girl’s photo was. Turns out he was going right to her~
 
 
Kaa chuckled to himself, “Well my dearesssst future meal~ I can’t wait to crosssss pathssss with you~ I ssssupposssse I can take the role of your adversssary~” In a mocking manner, Kaa reached over to Risky’s hat, and placed it on his own head as if to mimic her.
 
 
Though at that moment… The door swung open.
 
 
Kaa turned, and was face to face with one of the humanoids. It saw Kaa, and reached for its sword… Before glancing at Kaa’s swollen stomach, and then the hat on Kaa’s head. Kaa was preparing to defend himself, but to his surprise, the thing’s posture relaxed, and it just stared at Kaa.
 
 
The serpent was confused, he hadn’t even used hypnosis and yet this thing seemed… Docile. He followed its eyes, and realized it wasn’t staring at him… But at his hat. Kaa squinted, was he… There was only one way to find out. “Sssspin around.” Instantly the humanoid spun around, before waiting for his next order. Kaa just grinned, as the realization hit him. He was the captain now.
 
 
His tail pointed directly at the girl on the board, “Take me to this girl.”
 
 
…
 
 
The rest of the week on the sea had been Kaa familiarizing himself with his surroundings. Learning to communicate with the Tinkerbats, he found out that his future meal was named Shantae, a Half-Genie. He took the time to learn about her magic and skills, and is glad he did, otherwise he would have had no idea what he was up against. Finally, he formed the plan to lure Shantae into the forest, with the Tinkerbats more than eager to do as he said… Now, everything was in place, and as he heard a distant rustling in the jungle, he dropped Risky’s hat into the shrubbery. Playing captain had been fun, but the Tinkerbats had served their purpose now. He just wasn’t built to be out on the sea… Besides, even after he was finished here, he was more than positive that this land would hold many other delicious women… As the rustling grew ever closer, Kaa just waited for his Half-Genie prize…

“Phew!” Shantae burst into a small clearing, looking around for the Tinkerbat. She placed her hands on her hips, frowning. “Come on… You’re telling me that thing didn’t need to take any breaks running? Usually I just head right long enough and find it…” She looked around, and scratched her head. “It is weird it ran into the jungle instead of towards the beach, I imagine Risky can’t be too far off.” She tapped her chin, had it doubled back? She shrugged, “Well worst comes to worst maaaaaaybe Mayor Scuttlebutt will think he just misplaced it…?” She sighed, time to begin walking back.
 
 
That’s when she heard a voice.
 
 
“You sssseem lossst my dear.”
 
 
She whipped around, looking for the source of the voice, “Yello? Someone there?” She was looking around, unable to find the source of the voice.
 
 
“Up here.”
 
 
Shantae slowly looked up, her eyes meeting a pair of reptilian eyes, as a large snake stared down at her from its spot on an outstretched branch.
 
 
As the girl just stared at him, Kaa instinctively prepared some calming words, though he was beaten to it by Shantae, “Heya! I’m looking for a small pirate looking guy with a piece of paper that may or may not decide my living situation depending on if I can get it back or not.”
 
 
Kaa just blinked, “You’re not sssurprisssed I can talk?”
 
 
Shantae was now the one confused, “No? Why would I be? Should I be?”
 
 
Kaa was so used to women freaking out when an animal started talk to them. Or at least have a BIT of surprise. This girl acting as if it were perfectly normal caught him off guard for a moment. Kaa recovered quickly, “Ah nevermind me. Asss I wasss sssaying… You ssseem lossst my dear.”
 
 
Shantae placed her hands on her hips, and with a big smile, “I’m not lost! I just don’t know where I’m going!”
 
 
Kaa just blinked, “...Right. Anywayssss… You mentioned looking for sssomething?”
 
 
Shantae’s eyes went wide, “Ah right! I can’t spare any time to talk Mr. Snake! Longer I’m here the further the Tinkerbat gets! Cya!” She began to run off.
 
 
Kaa barely managed to get out a, “WAIT-” before the girl was out of earshot. As the girl paused and began to turn back, Kaa mentally groaned. This girl was going to be a handful he could already tell.
 
 
Shantae was soon back at the base of the tree, crossing her arms and looking up, “Yes?”
 
Kaa smiled, “Asss I wasss trying to tell you, I sssaaw where thissss ‘Tinkerbat’ went.”
 
 
That seems to get her attention, “Really!? Where!” She grinned widely, seemingly more motivated and eager now.
 
 
Kaa bowed his head, “Allow me to take you to where~” Kaa grinned, this was just what he needed, now-
 
 
“Woooouldn’t it be faster just to tell me which way…?” Shantae raised an eyebrow in confusion, “You don’t exactly seem like you’re built for speed.”
 
 
Kaa blinked, as this was something he wasn’t actually prepared to answer. How this had never come up before? He didn’t know. But he needed to think of something quick.
 
 
“Hello? Spacing out there?” Shantae asked again.
 
 
Kaa shook his head, and said the first thing that popped into his head, “Ah, I sssshould have been more clear~ Thessse Tinkerbatsss have a hidden sssecret ssstassh where they take the itemsss they’ve ssstolen. I’ve sssseen it before. However it would be hard to dessscribe with just mere directionssss, ssso it would be more sssuitable for me to take you there myssself~”
 
 
Shantae mentally groaned, an escort mission? And with a snake of all things? This was gonna be a pain, but still better than being evicted she supposed, “Alright… Fine. Lead the way! Oh, by the way, my name is Shantae! Genie Guardian of Scuttletown! …Well… Half-Genie that is! Hehe!” Shantae giggled, rubbing the back of her head.
 
 
Kaa’s tongue flicked out, “You may only be half of a genie… But I can already tell you are going to be a full meal~” The snake thought to himself, before talking, “It’sss a pleassssure to meet you Ssshantae~ My name isss Kaa~”
 
 
Shantae raised her hand, “Nice to meetcha Kaa!” Before pausing, “...I guess you don’t really have a hand for you to shake huh.”
 
 
“...No I do not.” Came a flat reply from the snake.
 
 
“Weeeell let’s get going before this gets any more awkward~!” Shantae quickly said, ready to move on.
 
 
Kaa sighed, this meal better be worth it. He slowly slid to the ground. “Follow me~” And off they went…
 
 
…
 
 
As the two traveled through the jungle, Kaa was finally left alone to his thoughts. He had been so caught off guard by this girl’s personality that he hadn’t even had the proper time to look at her in the flesh, rather than just the imagery of a picture. He cursed the fact that he was now forced to lead, with the delectable damsel trailing behind him. He was aware that he could glance back every once in a while, but each time he was met with the girl’s gaze. Knowing glancing back too often and for too long would garner suspicion. Still, those brief glimpses filled his mind with images of that perfect figure~ Delicious looking skin~ A lovely chest~ All he had to do was bide his time… And she would be his~
 
 
They continued walking for some time, and Shantae frowned, “We almost there? I feel like I could have searched the entire island and found it all on my own by now.”
 
 
Kaa’s eye twitched, and wondered what was stopping him from just eating her now. He looked around and sighed, no suitable branches unfortunately. And with how raring to go this girl was, he doubted she would even sit still long enough for him to hypnotize. The snake glanced up, and saw that the sky was beginning to turn orange. Perfect. The sun was setting already… And just at that moment, they came into a clearing… Even better~ Kaa looked around. It was a waterfall basin with a lake, and plenty of trees that would have branches exposed to the sun… Ideal for sleeping on with a full stomach~
 
 
Kaa turned towards Shantae, “Well then, why don’t we…” he trailed off… Now fully able to look at her… Kaa wasn’t sure if a snake’s eyes could bulge out of their heads, but if they could his definitely were right now.
 
 
Shantae stood there, one arm behind her back and the other just behind her, shifting in place as if waiting to get a move on again. Her body on full display for Kaa to look at, and firmly admire now~ All the prior thoughts came back… She was perfect~ He HAD to have her… And he could no longer wait~
 
 
“Why don’t we resssst here for the night~? There isss ssstill quite a long way to go~ Thissss isss jussst the halfway point after all~” The snake came up with~
 
 
“HALFWAY!?” Shantae groaned, “Well… Guess it can’t be helped… Ooh when I get my hands on that Risky I’m gonna-” Shantae instantly lighting a fire within herself, determined to get back that deed.
 
 
“Yesss well… Can’t ssstop her while exhausssted can you now~?” The snake slowly began to work his words… He needed to get her to settle down just for a bit… And he could claim what’s his~
 
 
Shantae sighed, “I guess not… Still… I’m not overly tired…” She glanced past Kaa, and looked towards the edge of the basin, where water lapped against the small shore. There was a large flat rock, almost like a stage… Ah… That’s it!
 
 
Shantae suddenly winked at Kaa, “I know what to do~!”
 
 
Kaa tilted his head, “I beg your pardon?”
 
 
Shantae giggled, “Just a little something I can do to say thanks!” She ran past Kaa, and stepped up onto the rock, the setting sun shining down on her like a spotlight. “I need to practice anyways, so I suppose you can be my audience~”
 
 
Audience? Just what was this girl talking about? And what was she doing? Kaa had to admit though, he was curious, and her intent didn’t seem ill willed, so why not see where this went? Kaa slithered closer, and coiled in front of the rock and waited… For what? He wasn’t sure, but a part of him was eager to find out…
 
 
Shantae smiled down at her one viewer, and was ready to begin. She closed her eyes, and began to sway her hips in her classic fashion~ Wriggling her hips from side to side, giving them a little shake with each sway~
 
 
Kaa just froze. Unable to believe what he was witnessing. All the strife of dealing with this girl had been paid off in full one hundred times over. He stared at her, mesmerized by her dance as she shook that sexy body~
 
 
Shantae then changed it up, leaning backwards, shaking her hips in one direction, her arms spread out for balance… Fluidly, Shantae moved into other motions on top of the rock, most involving moving her hips~
 
 
Kaa just continued to watch for minutes on end. As Shantae dipped herself while dancing, she winked at him, and that finally snapped Kaa out of it. He could no longer contain himself… He was the one who was supposed to be hypnotizing her! Yet here he was, mesmerized by her movements… Well, that was going to change. He waited until Shantae had her back turned as she spun during her routine…
 
 
Shantae turned back around, only to be met with Kaa’s face. “Eh?” She jolted, a bit surprised at the sudden invasion of her personal space… Though instead of Kaa’s normal eyes… A bright array of swirling colors stared into her own eyes…
 
 
“Oh please Ssshantae~ Keep dancing~ Don’t let me interrupt you~” As Shantae continued to dance, Kaa moved along with her, making sure his gaze never left hers…
 
 
“R-Right…” Shantae said, a bit slower than normal. She just continued, now clapping her hands together, moving her hips from right to left… Though her eyes stayed on Kaa’s… With her own eyes now a mirror of those bright rainbow swirls…
 
 
“That’ssss good… Keep moving that body of yoursss…” Kaa moved backwards, ever so slightly so he could see more of her. Sure it would take longer to hypnotize like this, but to have such prey with a body that knew how to use it? Such a chance was too good for the snake to pass up~
 
 
Shantae could feel her mind more at ease… As if it were clearer. So much more clear… With one word just ringing repeatedly. Dance. After all, that’s what she said she was going to do for Kaa right? It’s also what Kaa wanted? Kaa told her to not let him interrupt her dance… So she wasn’t going to let him… She just continued to do what she loved… As a wide smile spread across her face~
 
 
Kaa just continued to watch her sway back and forth. To his delight, she had stopped doing any moves that would involve her breaking eye contact with him. She must have been more vulnerable than he initially thought… Still, he knew he had to hurry this along. After all, he needed to get this meat where it properly belong~
 
 
He moved closer once again, “My dearessst Ssshantae… If I may sssay… Your dance isss excellent… Though, I believe your clothing may be holding you back~ It might be bessst to remove what… Little you have on~”
 
 
The words filled Shantae’s mind. That made complete sense! Of course her clothing would be holding her back. This outlandish outfit restricted her movements after all, having to ensure nothing snagged. Why hadn’t she thought of dancing naked before? She’d have to properly thank Kaa once she finished her performance.
 
 
Without even stopping, Shantae reached behind her back, undoing her top, and flicking it to the side, her arms outstretched in her signature dance without missing a single beat~
 
 
Kaa had to admit, he was impressed. He was in fact struggling to focus on keeping his hypnosis going, lest he get distracted by her dance again. Her now bare chest didn’t help his attention. Those perky breasts now bouncing with each hip sway~ It took everything the snake had to not begin swallowing her there and then. But if he should listen to anyone, listen to himself and not interrupt the show~
 
 
Shantae’s shoes were relatively easy, there were a few dance moves that required fast leg movement, and faster than Kaa could see, they were gone. That meant there was only one thing left~
 
 
Shantae gently winked at Kaa again, her hands sliding under her pants waistline. Slowly pushing them downwards, still managing to move her body fluidly as she did so~ Before finally, raising her arms above her head, and just moving herself from side to side, letting her pants slowly fall down her own legs. Until finally, with a spin, Shantae was simply able to step right out of them, turning around to face Kaa, striking a pose to signify her dance ending~
 
 
Ping~
 
 
And perfect timing too~ Kaa’s eyes slowly returned to their normal color… Shantae’s however remained that bright array~ Signifying that his hypnosis had completely and utterly dominated the genie’s mind… She was all his~
 
 
“My dear~! If I could clap I would, that wasss posssitively magnificent~” Kaa laughed, for once, not in a mocking tone towards his prey. He truly meant it, admiring Shantae as a dancer… Even if she was just food in the grand scheme of it all~
