Despite her new status as a carnivorous bunny, Haru always felt that in the back of her mind, she was defying the natural order. She carried herself in the way she always would, perhaps a bit more confident than before but for the most part, she was the same old bunny. Just a lot fatter than usual.

In fact, she had grown quite attached to a few of her fellow students, one of which being a frankly adorable wolf boy that went by the name of Legoshi. They had met when he had to ask for flowers for his club and, being who she was, thought that he wanted some "private time" with her too. Since he was much more polite than her first ever prey, she was actually quite willing to offer herself to him that day. But she left him, both floored and alone, when he acted like a straight up virgin and ran off while apologizing to her, despite her being almost completely naked while talking about how she had never taken a carnivore's dick before. It was... quite endearing, she had to admit. Someone who treated her like a normal person... and didn't even need sex to do so... he was strange, but over time, they've grown to be friends.

Another of those she had befriended was a deer boy from the same drama club as Legoshi, a popular Beastar candidate named Louis. He came to her club one day, having shed his antlers and tried to pay to have her keep his secret and use the club as a hideaway if it ever happened again. She denied his offer of course, taking it upon herself to treat his wounds and allow him to stay without pay. From then on, the two wordlessly became friends with benefits, and through their interactions, Haru saw the same disregard for life that she once had in herself before she found her new purpose as a secret predator. There was a great sadness hidden in Louis' eyes, and he would never admit to it, to which she simply did her best to act an anchor to him.

Finally, she had strangely enough made contact with yet another drama club member, and another wolf no less. Her name was Juno, and their initial relationship was actually quite hostile... one-sidedly that is. Juno had a massive crush on Legoshi, and saw her friendship with him as a threat to her, creating a bit of a rivalry between the two until they could finally speak together in private and find some common ground. It didn't take long for Juno to spill the beans that Legoshi stood up for her against some students who harassed her for being the same species as a criminal who violently devoured a herbivore in public (students that Haru made sure to visit soon after). The two were able to reconcile and become good friends as well, with the two coming to terms that Legoshi did have his own crush on Haru herself.

Three quite genuine connections, and a new lease in life after discovering her latent ability at devouring? Life was too perfect.

And what better to send that message than for Haru to find herself being kidnapped during preparations for the meteorite festival? Right in the middle of the day, the fat bunny was simply minding her business, when all of the sudden, she was hastily manhandled into the bushes, where she would be bound and gagged before being taken away, unable to call for help...
