It is one thing to be told by others that the planet we live on is round. To see the curvature of the earth with your own two eyes -- it really puts one's own place in the world into perspective.

Perhaps even rounder were the two apex predators who roamed its surface, now standing at such a massive scale that they could see such a curve unassisted. Even at sitting level, their heads flirted with the upper stratosphere, enough for clouds to even gather around their forms.

As nonchalantly as if she were taking a pie from an oven, the golden-haired titan tore an entire block from the city they had ravaged with her bare hands. Her larger, overstuffed partner took no heed of this latest antic, entirely too focused on gnawing a chunk of forest down to size. She was never much for salad... but it would have to do until she had processed enough of her last feast to walk again.


"FOOD FIGHT!"


Her absent-minded musings were broken by a sudden shout from the other titanic troublemaker. The cry was carried for miles in all directions, reminding those unfortunate enough to live on the continent or so within earshot of what their own fates would soon entail. The larger girl had hardly opened her eyes, only just processing the gray lump quickly taking up her field of vision, when --

SPLAT!

And thus was the end of a city in which tens of thousands had lived, worked, and digested -- not with a bang, but with a dinner bell.

(Don't worry about the possibility of senseless and reckless endangerment of lives or anything. Nobody was in any of those buildings she threw. The whole population had already been safely evacuated... to the next layer of the insatiable lasses' all-encompassing pudge.)

From here the feast would only continue... in fact, it had to.
