The dragon thought, and then the idea hit him. "Do you remeber what I said about my necklace?" The Charizard asked the Pichu, who had braced himself with his paws in Nate's throat. "You mean about how it grants wishes?" "Yeah, that's it." "How will that help us?" Kyorui asked, "It only works if the wearer wishes something. You are wearing it, so you would have to make the wish."
Nate laughed, and then said, "Exactly. All I have to do is wish that you won't be digested but instead come out unharmed and alive..." "And I'll survive the digestion process!" Kyorui cried. "Nate, you're a genius!" "Let me get it done then. I wish, by the power of the Shadow Necklace, that Kyorui would come to no harm and would not die while traveling through my body."
Suddenly, Kyorui started glowing with a blue light. "Nate, it's working!" He cried with delight. "Good. I guess that means we'll be roommates from now on. Glad to have you as a friend Kyorui." Nate said, as his throat muscles began pulsating again.
After he had taken a trip through Nate's body, Kyorui was standing in the kitchen with Nate. "I guess that means I finally accomplished what I always wanted to." "And what would that be, Kyorui?" Nate said. "I finally found somewhere that I will be accepted and known by name.
"You're right about that, Kyorui," Nate said. "And I promise I won't eat you again."
"Thank you so much, Nate." Kyorui said. "No problem, Kyorui. Let's get some sleep now," Nate said. "We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow.
