Race of the Eons
 
 After winning the gym battle, I headed back to Mt. Moon. When I got back, I was greated warmly by Guy, Frank, and Kyorui. I told them what had happened at the gym, and they had told me of what had been going on with them. Just before I could ask about Eric, Kyroui spoke up. "He went to the Southern Island in the Hoenn Region. He said he and an old friend of his, Jake's dad, needed to take care of a crisis on the island.
 "Perfect. I guess this means that Jake will be headed there as well to help his dad. Well, I have something I need to take care of. You guys need to head to Southern Island right now. Guy, can you handle both of them at once?" "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can. I know where the island is, too." "Good. I need you guys to head out when you are ready to go. Just don't forget to stop should you need, ok?"
 After the arrangements were made and the others had left, I got ready for what I had to do. I straightened up the cave, put my newly earned badge in a safe place, and wished to be where Jake was. Then, something went wrong. There was a flash of shadowy light, and I was hit from behind as a teleported. I appeared in a berry garden, but realized that all of the berry plants were taller than I was.
 I looked at myself, and realized what the attack had been for. I was now a black and gray skinned Sandshrew, and I heard a stomach growl a little above my head. I turned around to find Jake, looking down at me and licking his lips. I only hoped that my Shadow Amulet could save me from what was about to happen next. Just as Jake was about to pick me up, my head started spinning, and I blacked out.
