This was a quick run through of the head latout. some artist use a circle and others use and oval. Think egg head. When it comes to the head you have to remember cheeck bones , jaws, shading, Eyes , and lot more. Don.t worry , it all come to habbit later on. I'm still learning.

Egg-shape is good. I also like to use boxes to get the general direction the head is facing.
