Experiments Gone Wrong
 
 "Nate, when are you going to be done? I wanna see it!" Nanaki yelled at the closed door. "Be patient, would ya? I told you, when I'm done, I'll let you try it." Nate was busy working on a potion for his younger brother, Nanaki. It was a birthday gift, and he was trying to get it done before his colleagues called him away from his work agian. "I'll be done soon!" Nate put some more chemicals together in a beaker, and the reaction was perfect: the solution bubbled, turned blue, and that was it.
 "It is done, Nanaki. Now, there are a couple of ground rules for using this potion. One, do not use it in the house. Two, and I can't stress this enough, don't drink it within-" Just then, the phone rang, and Nate lifted the phone. "Yes, Nate the Charizard speaking..." While Nate was talking, his brother, an anthro Charmeleon, went into the kitchen to make lunch. I promise you, I'll be there soon. Just keep a turnicut on the wound." Nate hung up the phone, and ran out the door, yelling behind him to Nanaki. "Now, listen up. Someone got a metal shard through them at the lab during an experiment. I need to go help. Stay here and out of trouble, k?
 "Sure, Nate." Nanaki said, and Nate shut the door behind him. Nanaki rushed to the window, just in time to see his brother start to fly. He noticed that Nate had left his potion, and decided to test it, remembering that Nate had told him that 'his present this year would be great. "It couldn't hurt anything to try it." Nanaki said to himself. He walked outside, remembering his brother's warning, and downed the whole beaker.
 "Nate...Nate, over here!" The apprentance yelled up to him. "Did you bring the restorative?" "No, but I can make one quick." "So, what exactly does the potion you made for Nanaki?" "Well, he's always wanted to be bigger, so I made him a potion that would turn him into a macro. It only lasts for an hour, so I plan on taking him to a secluded area this weekend to give it to him." "What would happen if he drank it within city limits?" "Nothing good, that's for sure." With that, the two walked inside.
 "Wha...what's going on?!?" Nanaki said to himself. He had drank the whole beaker of the blue potion, and now, he was glowing like a fluorecent light bulb. Just then, he started growing. At first, he was just five foot tall. Then, he grew to ten, than 25, then 50, until he was a 100 foot tall macro. "So, that's what it does. No wonder he didn't want me to use it in the..." He looked down, as he had taken a step, and heard something crunch. "The house!" Nanaki yelled, and took a step back. Doing this caused him to destroy another building. He wasn't happy about all the destruction he was causing, but it did feel good under his feet.
 He stepped on a few more buildings, enjoying the sounds and feel of them. Then, he started jumping up and down, causing the earth to shake, and a whole block of buildings to fall.
 "What the hell is going on here?" Nate yelled, as he had been in the middle of mixing the restoration potion, the ground started to heave, and he spilled a chemical all over his claws. "Is that an earthquake?" "See for yourself..." "What the hell? Is that Nanaki in the middle of town?" Sure enough, the 12:00 news was showing Nanaki, jumping up and down, causing tremors, and destroying one city block after another. "I've got to go fix this. After all, it is my fault!" Nate bolted out the door, and told his colleuges to call the hospital.
 "This is exhilerating!" Nanaki yelled, as he tromed through downtown, destroying skyscrapers and office building with his huge tail, and smaller businesses and homes with his feet. Suddenly, he realized that everything had been leveled. "This isn't fun anymore. What do I do now?" "Nanaki!" Nate yelled to his younger brother, "Why did you have to drink that? I still hadn't worked out the kinks. Oh well, an hour should be up right about...now." Just then, Nanaki's body started glowing a flourecent color again, and in less than thirty seconds, he was himself again. "You are lucky I have enough money to fix up the town. Now, let's get you "home." I think you've had enough fun for today.
