Very true... :D But I sir, am a dragon. And I has a bigger tush! o.-.o *Wiggles bum!* XP Though, movin' along... o.-.o Still though, very nice, but as for a comment on the actual work itself... You did pretty well, but on the belly, it's clear you used a circular motion of coloring, which isn't bad, but try and rub the colors a bit, to blend them together. :3 As for the eyes, they are a bit flat. o.-.o Try and give them just a bit of shine to them as well as a pupil, unless that is actually part of the art style. in which case, continue to keep it up! ^.-.^ Very good, just a few helpful critiques, if they help any. o.-.o;

any tips on how to do it. I don't really have a handle on traditional coloring.

regarding the eye, it's slitted eyes and I realized I swapped the black and the colored part of the eye.

Ah, so it was art style for the eyes. o.o Thankies, I was rather curious! ^-^

As for the coloring on her, you did good for the most part, keeping your lines going in one direction, rather clean... But as for the circular part, I only say against it, as it shows a bit prominantly, and drew my focus a bit to it. o.o If I were you, I'd go ahead and try to color it in one direction, if possible, but for her breasts, due to the angle, I'd color in not a straight line, but an upward curve, so as to use the texture to perhaps show almost like fur, and the way it'd look from there. :3

I can see what you mean, I shall try that one next time. (I did that one a few weeks back and don't feel like going back and work on it again)
