The optic conditions in this cave are a pain, even for Ruggo's enhanced sight. Intense bright flickering fire and white shiny quarts crystals. These crystals were actually Allard-Liao's idea - they may make a perfect hiding place for his character.

I got some second thoughts on the sneak attack though, I'm not sure Lejule would ever use a "Back stab" like that, being a character with a strong codex of honor, while this.. More the way of the assasin ninja than of the samurai.

Let's say the strike was not meant to inflict injury anyway, but merely as a harmless or playful "greeting blow" with the broad side of the blade, or a hair cut hit, a sophisticated way to say "hello".
