Here we can see the Specialized tentacle planting it's self in it's host's cunt, sealing any magic ability's or resistances she may have. It will feed on her magic to make it's self tougher. Unfortunately for Paz, the creatures new host, she is a fairly powerful magic user. That will make damaging the land star almost impossible. The pores of the bulbous tip secret a similar glue to the suction cups, ensuring that the limb can't be removed once the glue has cured. The also swells slowly to ensure a tight seal. You can see the glue drying on her thigh from an earlier attempt to remove the specialized tentacle.
