base colors laid in and am working on getting the background tightened up. it's going to be a bigger pic than usual but there's just so much detail that vanishes when i shrink it down. anyway, here's where i am so far. thought somebody would like to see. next one should be the finished piece unless my drawing hand falls off first..

Thanks for all the encouraging comments. Knowing that your work is appreciated can be the best motivation to keep doing it. Getting close to finishing the inking now. Should hopefully have the finished piece up soon. Thanks again!
