One of the monsters from my doodles has made it into a full colour tablet drawing. These things skitter along on their spider like legs, searching for victims with their one large eye. They chase their prey and snatch them up with their tentacles and feed through a mouth like opening at the top.

When not feeding the tentacles retract inside and the shell closes over the opening.

As of yet they have no name...

looks kinda like Vaati from zelda four swords

Don't know it. I've heard of the zelda console games but haven't played them.

Just done an image search an I can see where they are similar, black orbs with one eye, but the Vaati lack tentacles and spider like legs and instead have loads of bat like wings.
