Tsukiyo is the last character to (at the beginning of the story that I haven't come up with yet) already bear an Artifact. She's also the only character to both attend the Blue Mage Academy and be a pureblooded monster. She's a Rainbow Paint Slime, A species of slime known for both being nonviolent towards humans and changing color depending on their mood.
____________________________

Most Rainbow Paint Slimes live in the forests on the Midland Island (The Largest of Arkadia's 3 known remaining Land masses, all of which are large islands), but Tsukiyo grew up in a human household and was raised by a sickly girl of the same name. She found her scarf in the ruins nearby their home, and brought it back to her master in the hopes that it would heal her.

Unfortunately, the artifact she brought home was not imbued with healing magic, but instead a curse. It drained the poor girl's remaining health and used her life force to permanently attach itself to Tsukiyo, forcing her to take on the appearance of her closest friend. Her grief now compels her to hunt down and lock away artifacts with unknown enchantments so that no one will ever suffer the same fate she did.

Not every story I've dreamed up has been happy, and Tsukiyo was hard to draw because of her background. Now that she's out of my head, my next page will probably be a small list of techniques for Vermillion, Azul and Tsukiyo (Tsukiyo's is the most impressive so far, the Paint Devourer that I can see but not draw >.<) Might take me awhile though.

I used a profile pic of Tama from Sengoku Youko as a refrence for the Kimono, since I've never seen one in real life before and as such simply cannot draw one properly. Also Tried to add more detail, not sure if I succeeded in that regard.

Now that’s pretty cool, she can change color with her mood... she’s her own mood ring. XD
I have one myself.

You did a great job on her kimono there, Ty. Her obi has really got her cinched in there.
I’ve seen a few in person at various anime conventions and cultural festivals, so yeah... you got it. Normally they wrap all the way up to the neck – showing any cleavage at all is a huge no-no – but it’s your own style for that. =)

And your detail on the little creases and crinkles in the material are nicely subtle. =)

Since she's trapped in human form, the only thing she can change the color of is her hair. But she can temporarily shapeshift parts of her body to use her various racial abilities (Like the Paint Devourer, which I'm still struggling to draw)
