This reminds me alot of another story I read. I think it was titled "Mama's gonna keep baby safe and warm."

The plot is somewhat based off that story, but i decided to write my own that went the way i like it to go.

Awesome! Hard to find stories where anything like this happens in the belly, or womb for that matter. My only complaint is that the son is what? 23? And he talks like a seven year old most of the time. Was that intentional?

yeah it was a bit, hes scared back to that point where coherence is lost and hes subconsciously trying to appeal to his mother's maternal instincts.
