I'm not sure that I enjoy some of the hard vore aspects you've gone over so far, yet I can't seem to stop reading it... (I don't really mind the gore, oddly enough. I suppose the difference is, it's not Sam that's the victim.)
I don't really know all that much about Sam, or Mara for that matter, but it's rather easy to connect with them on some level; good job on that. Here's hoping they are reunited soon!

I just wrote basically a 1000 word essay to try to explain a few things but I think I can condense it.

Hard vore is out of my comfort zone. It makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel like most of the people who've been reading this story up to now are like me, since this story has featured exclusively soft vore.

So I guess the main reason I left it in the story, instead of rewriting it to be different, is because I wanted to scare the reader a little bit. I find hard vore to be intrinsically darker than soft vore; the pain and suffering is more in the open and more of a part of it. Soft vore predators don't scare me nearly as much as hard vore predators.

I also think that hard vore makes sense in this setting; almost everything has threatened Sam's life in some way, at some point. Even the parachute "miraculously" deploying when the container had fallen out knocked her out. The universe that Sam is in will have every sort of thing after her. Even things that are very good will be threatening Sam's life later on in the story.

As I've been writing this, it's become less of an erotic fiction, but a fiction that features eroticism. And so I'm more welcome to the idea of trying to do things that are outside the scope of a purely erotic story.

I'm just gonna post this because I have spent way too long trying to hone this down perfectly.

Yeah, it's got a bit of that "scare" factor to it; I'm starting to feel rather attached to Sam, in a way, so whenever she's put into danger, it's definitely a tense feeling. I do enjoy that, as a fiction, though it is a bit tough to deal with as an erotica!
All in all, it's been interesting so far, and I'm definitely curious to see where things go.

I'm kind of as dedicated to presenting good erotica as I am to telling a story, the conflicts being mostly erotic rather than only violent.

That being said, I think I will continue to keep the hard vore very sparse, or at least "offscreen". There are other ways to frighten someone!

i'm liking the developing this between sam and hera, it might lead to an interesting 3 way lol.

the plot pretty good, although its still a mystery as to why the hell sam is so important, i'm guessing it'll be a nice reveal at some point.
