Interesting story. The issue of "might make right" is a fine one to explore with a deconstruction of macrophilia, but i would expect the good guys to still lose in that sort of story(though the survivors of earth are still gonna be in for a rough time). I really enjoyed the the plot twists in regards to the huntsman's true plan, as well as an fascinating mythology on the origin of macros. On the other hand, the parody was hit and miss with me, and bringing in so many fandoms felt largely unneeded to make your point. It just came across as mean-spirited and I thought the way you name-dropped was in bad taste. My advice if you want to change how other author's write: "you attract more flies with honey than vinegar".

Well, glad to see you enjoyed the plot twists and the mythology I crafted. The name-dropping wasnt that subtle, but that was on purpose because "sometimes anvils need to be dropped". And I didn't want it so subtle that nobody got the references.
