I wish this woman would come clean out our Walmart. Little brats running into me all the dang time, so annoying. Huge problem with unsupervised children around here. Send her over!

That might be more of a job for another one of my characters, Danae... and she definitely hasn't been in a story in a while.

In the next bits, it should have her going out and sneakly at first eating children, then openly doing so and apparently getting away with it. You should have the uncaring mother also eating one of her own kids right in front of Xiomara, before Xiomara eats her.
