As they approached it, Sarah remained quiet and Mandy was far too scared to talk. She was continuously looking around in the hope of being able to see the unexpected coming before it hit them. Whatever it would be...
Near the cave’s opening, Sarah stopped and focused her attention on Mandy.
‘Are you sure you’re coming inside with me?’ she said with a strange tremble in her voice.
‘Of course!’ Mandy answered a bit loudly. ‘Who else is going to save you if you get into trouble?’
‘Well, you’re right there,’ Sarah reacted uncomfortably, but she appreciated the tease. ‘I’d be lost without you.’
She smiled for a moment, but she was clearly as scared as Mandy was. She turned around and cautiously walked towards the entrance. Mandy was still gazing through the forest expecting something bad to happen. As soon as she looked away for a moment she heard a loud scream and she immediately spun back around to see at her companion. Horrified by the scene unfolding before her she fell backwards against a tree. Her back hurt tremendously from the impact, but she was far too scared to care.
Her eyes were fixed upon an unbelievable trap. Sarah had been caught by some sort of plant and it was sucking her inside itself. She was inside of its flexible tube-like body from her head down to her upper arms. The plant’s strength seemed to heavily outweigh Sarah’s as she couldn’t move her arms enough to cut the plant with the knife she was still holding.
Mandy couldn’t move a muscle. She wanted to help her friend, but she was frozen with fear, all her strength had left her.

You're welcome, I always support the artists I like.

Just finished reading the e-book and it was really good. Whenever I read a book or watch a movie I like to think I can predict where the plot will go. I have to say I didn't do so well with this one =).

Thank you for taking the time to write this and hope to read more in the future.

I'm so happy to hear that! My plot-making went well then :)
And to tell you the truth, I actually had a much larger story in mind way before I started this one. that will be my next story.
It will be based on the old comic that is somewhere burried deep in my gallery, but then in the form of a much more exciting and more logic story.
