He had caught the young mouse, though the chase was more for fun than of any real need for food. Pinned down, she was on the verge of tears. Aeywon was not one to be cruel, but his predator nature, and playing with his food, was instinct. He rolled her over under one massive paw.
"Listen, I don't want to eat a sobbing meal, you'd be way too salty. But I'll give you a choice. If you can get ahold of yourself, mayhap you can help me find another meal. Elsewise, I may just keep you around until I get hungry.
She sniffed loudly and nodded, watery eyes reflecting gratitude. A deal was struck, and after a time, she returned to him, having lured back a somewhat unsuspecting wolf. He discovered their purpose soon upon arriving, but he was a poor match against the tiger's speed and size. He worked the wolf most of the way down before settling down before his small assistant. Opening his mouth wide, he exhaled over her, giving the two a glimpse before another swallow. The wolf was clutching desperately, but to no avail. The small mouse had seemingly overcome some of her fear, and knelt quite entranced, supporting the tigers chin in one paw, and stroked his large tongue with the other.
Perhaps these two would be able to work together after all.

Bit of a story that popped into my head while drawing. This was fun, and I like the colors, effects, and that I managed to pull an alright-looking internal shot for my first attempt! I might just keep that mouse around, need to find a name for her though...
Dekadens offered to be food, so I took him up it. hope you like it!

I started with Aeywon as an anthro character, but drew him both ways, though recently I've started seeing him as more feral, physically. It shows his size better.

I'll keep her around, put together an official ref sheet for her. The 'cat and mouse' concept is growing on me.
