Just another character I wound up making a long while back after I started playing Starbound. Rounded out some visual details, and got it drawn by  dragga

Carica Vera is a Floran, which, for those who haven't played Starbound, are plant people. As a race, they are generally tribal, war-like, and cannibalistic towards other races. There are peaceful Florans, however.

I don't have a fully concrete background for Carica, but she's a (generally) peaceful Floran that likes to explore and meet new people. Uniquely, she's a vegetarian, out of virtue of the fact that she can't actually digest meat, only plant matter. She still eats people for fun, but it's completely safe inside her.

Her large jaws also make her quite skilled at swallowing people fairly quickly, which can be convenient, as the 'goo' that digests food in her stomach is so non-harmful as to be directly beneficial, acting to smooth the skin and disinfect wounds.
