I started walking
through the woods, carrying Saeta on my back. I had to watch out so
that she didn’t sink too much into my body, or I could accidentally
absorb her. And I didn’t really want to do that, yet.
Several hours
later, the situation had somehow gotten even worse. The Harpy was
still unconscious, dragging her body around the forest had completely
exhausted me, and it was only when I stopped to rest that I realized
that I was lost.

– Part 1
It was a bright
day of spring, and the warm sun bathed the land of Arkyte with its
light. Even though it was supposed to be a peaceful morning, a loud
commotion had broken the pleasant silence of the forest.
I was the cause
of the ruckus. I was in the middle of a hunt, pursuing an annoying
prey that I had been trying to eat for several weeks. I had tried to
capture that prey countless times before, and she’d always manage
to escape. I was hungr
