I can't be the only one that thinks screaming prey = burping because of their breath being forced into the stomach, right?
Kiri's punishing Antonio for being an irritating little sod by giving him a time-out. Typically he'd be digested but Kiri's a dab hand at potions and magic and's found something to pause the process while 'tonio is in there.
