Man this was a tough boss to beat, even at Level 40, I could barely get an attack in, it was only thanks to the Ballista, as well as the Phantons that I was able to take down The Pursuer... ^_^

You just had to roll to the shield way or evade him and go to the giant crossbows very fast and shot it to him that is a one shot movement
You can parry him too in some attacks
