So I've been playing a lot of Dark Souls 3 and Aldrich, Devourer of Gods is so my jam I can't even take it hes so perfect and pretty. Anyways I wrote m/m I guess. There's some violence, blood letting, its kinda gross.

It's about time something about Aldrich and Gwyndolin showed up. Seeing Smough get his just desserts, but also be shown as the last loyal guardian of Anor Londo, is nice too. Great story overall.
I could easily see a demoralized/tired Gwyndolin letting himself be consumed though. But based on his groans of pain/up close facial screenshots, I feel as if he's actually still in the process of being eaten by Aldrich in 3, and is there, but is no longer in control. Pretty messed up stuff.
To be a contrarian Dark Souls fan though, I gotta point out that canon points towards Gwyndolin being FED to Aldrich by Sully. Also, nothing supports Aldrich eating Nito - the DS1 Chosen Undead finished him off. And the Ashen One in DS3 isn't a Chosen Undead.

Excellent points all around. Chosen Undead and Ashen One is an honest mistake, I got 'em swapped somehow.
As for him being fed to Aldrich, and maybe in fact in the process of being eaten, yeah I've seen that theory and it has some legit points. HOWEVER if that was the case I couldn't have my sexy slug husband, the lewd tube dude.
I've been looking around and I've seen mention of Aldrich eating Nito around. I ran with it. The story is obviously not strictly canonical, and I certainly wouldn't claim it as such for obvious, fetishy reasons.

The gritty descriptions and the grim dark tone of the story hooked me.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it! The atmosphere and tone is so important to the source material, I really tried to convey those same feelings here.
