As this is just a sketch I can always add a horn in the final version: It may turn out she wasn't an earth pony like I thought. Of course if Cainiam and Vraddock like her this way, that's just fine.
I also added a bio like thingy, mostly to propose a personality overhaul but also little tid-bits to set up further story and plot for her if wanted.

I also named the mean crusader from the very start, because having those two turn up again would be interesting. Show them how far Dusty's come from her humble start!

Finally I think this hostility between her and Eissen would make for an interesting dynamic; Dusty and Zephyr are sweet together, and with the new faces I wanted to throw in some tension. Optic isn't really thinking about sticking his guts (and only slightly thinking about sticking him in her's), but it'll still cause some hassle for the protagonists: Can they endure these two's begrudging teamwork? And what if they begin to fear she's going to harm him?

There's potential drama to be had here.
