You would pronounce Jobe like J-Oe-b, like Job in the bible. I wasn't going to spell it that way or readers would think his name is another word for career.

I don't have a fursona, nor do I know the ins-and-outs of the culture, but I felt it was imperative to weave a story where the characters were anthro. My research led me to the idea of "unbirth" originating in the fur community. I feel that making the characters animal people is a minor adjustment, but for fans of the lifestyle will appreciate the words in the story weaving around such characters.

Kid = Baby Goat
Pup = Baby Dog
In case you see the word kid in the title and think human.

"The purest forms of life,
Our days are never coming back,"
