"Accident," intentional. Who is to say really...

Why the background is ambiguous, this could easily happen in a laundromat, tossing in clothing for a wash and boom.

Regardless, nay saying to the aspect that that an "accident" might not be an "accident," could likely give rise to the very real possibility of a similar collision in their own future.
