Hyuuga Kihou sighed as she rubbed her stomach, bulging with growing form of her second child, who was currently moving quite a bit inside her womb. She just didn't know why the fetus was so upset, nor did she understand what she was currently craving. She'd tried several different foods, including a bowl of ice cream topped with beef-flavored ramen noodles, but while delicious it failed to satisfy either her craving or the unhappy child growing inside of her.

"What is it you want so much, little one?" Kihou asked her stomach. but was only answered with the sensation of the infant kicking at the walls of her womb irritably.

As she ran her hands over her stomach, she heard the sound of someone knocking at her door. Allowing them entrance, she watched as it opened and her dear friend Kushina walked into the room with a smile.

The red-haired woman had been the previous jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi, at least until an incident five years ago, which resulted in it being freed and Naruto having to hold the Kyuubi. Or at least, hold half of the Kyuubi, with Kushina holding the other half inside of her, an act which ending up saving her life, but costing her husband, the Yondaime Hokage Minato Namikaze his life.

"Kushina-chan, what brings you by?" Kihou asked, and the red-haired woman replied "I've heard that you and the child haven't been feeling too well lately."

"Yeah, she's been so upset and I just can't figure out what is causing her this distress." Kihou answered, Kushina frowning as she walked over and placed her hand on the swell of Kihou's stomach as she said "What's the problem kiddo? You already getting colicky before even being born? Or are you just bored at being stuck in there for so long?"

As Kushina spoke, Kihou's nose was tickled by a most tantalizing scent. Taking a deep whiff of the smell, she felt her mouth begin to water, as whatever it was, the scent was proving to be most delicious too. And it seemed her unborn child approved of the delicious smell too, as she seemed to calm after Kihou had smelled it.

Looking around the room, Kihou turned to Kushina and asked "Say Kushina, did you bring something to eat with you?"

Blinking, Kushina looked to her friend confused as she said "No... Why?"

"Nothing, I just thought I smelled something delicious." Kihou replied, and Kushina smiled as she said "Well, maybe someone else is cooking something good and you're smelling that."

"Probably." Kihou agreed, though she kept sniffing the air in search of the source of the smell. It seemed so close, that could practically touch it, and she was going to find it and eat it if it would please her unborn child. As she sniffed around, her nose breezed close to Kushina's hair, and the dark-haired Hyuuga's eyes widened as the smell flooded her senses.
