As a whole? Hyper Dimension Neptunia is a really fun series with really good characters, Visuals and References, But at the same time, It also has some major issues. Sometimes the Fourth Wall Breaking is a bit annoying for me as it makes it so i cant really get engrossed in the series like i usually do with most serieses, And Neptune herself is kinda annoying, Unlike her adorable sister Nepgear.
But, Everyone else is pretty entertaining and Fun, Like Vert, Plutia, Blanc, Compa, Etc. And The Story is very clever in references (I didnt even know the entire story was based on the console wars until i looked it up), So, Its a Series i overall enjoy despite its faults!

Neptune is bleh, Noire and Blanc fans ruined Nepgear is freaking adorable I agree.
Oh in Noire's game there's a pacman girl character with a hinted cannibalism taste named Lady Wac. She even tries to eat Neptune in a game of hide and seek.
