Golden power egg. In reference to spmatoon2's salmon run. It is a hoarde/wave based co-op mode where four inklings fight salmoniods, smaller salmoniods drop power eggs, much like octotarians/octolings in the si gle player campaign, boss salmonoids drop three power eggs each.
The purpose of them is a bit vague, but hinted that they aren't a food source, but a means to power structures and appliances like zap fish.
