If you're too nice to your servants then they'll start to think they're on the same level as you. If that happens you need to remind them of their place..

I dont think it's ever been explained just where the White Court gets their mortal employees from.

Not thoroughly explained, but you get an idea in White Night (I'm a Dresden Files Nerd, so sue me!) that she only hires competent employees. Assuming Captain Luccio's and Dresden's assessments' were correct, she hires ex-military that knows the business of killing, the type that gets drafted for private service as bodyguards and such. At least for those types of servants...others are a dime a dozen for her almost.

Yeah, I gave the artist some images from the Wild Card comic as reference, I think it went well. But yeah, she's awesome
