Time and time again have things refused to go your way. All you remembered was the Warden Unit spreading its filth throughout PATHOS-II. A cancer that had to be cured immediately. You couldn't terminate the WAU Project yourself, as you were in too much pain to move or speak at the time. Instead, you did your best to manipulate the WAU's frequencies to spread the word that the WAU must be destroyed. It only got to one person. The girl Raleigh. She made the protien that would kill the WAU, but it was locked away. She was going to unlock its vault, but the warden didn't take this well. All staff at the site you awakened in, Omicron, died. The WAU was an animal released from its cage. An animal that had been deprived of food and water for enough time to drive it to total madness. It was making humanity suffer in its wake. You attempted to communicate with the abominations the WAU created, but they were only met with violence. The future of humanity's survival was indeed very grim. But then Simon came along. He took the gel from the cabinet and made himself into a venomous snake. The enslaved protien inside his suit was the noose from which the Warden Unit would hang itself. Simon was the snake, and yet he refused to strike at the heart, despite your pleading. You had to make him finish this. Mankind depended on it. He chose his path, and you chose yours. He pleaded to you not to kill him. His pleas would fall on deaf ears. "You have to do this, Simon! This is bigger than both of us!", you shouted at the metahuman. His wishes for the WAU would not stand in the way of mankind's future. You would not let the earth be consumed by WAU's nightmares. You would not let Simon spare the cancer and its hideous reign. You would not let humanity suffer for an eternity. You would not let Simon ruin this.
 
Then, it happened. The WAU noticed your rebellion. The WAU would execute you for your wishes.
 
It started with a human-like scream that could be heard throughout Site Alpha, a place where the seed of the cancer that was eating PATHOS-II was planted. A quake was felt under the floor, causing you to lose your footing and almost fall over. Then, the WAU's little acolyte burst out of the floor, snatching you up in its maw. This beast was once a giant squid. You knew that yourself, as you saw the WAU mutating it into a monster that barely even resembled a squid. Now, it was more like a worm. You screamed, struggled, and punched the beast, but it did not give way. Simon would only look on, and you would grow to hate him for it. Then, the beast swallowed you whole without a second thought. You slid down its throat, screaming all the way. You soon slid into a fluid-filled, poorly-made sac. The primitive organ was filled to the brim with a hellish fusion of brine, structure gel, and decaying organic matter. You could only assume that this sac was originally the internal organs of the animal it was at one point, before it became an abomination in every sense of the word. Its heart. Its gills. Its actual stomach. Its pen. Its gonads. Its eyes. All fused into one small sac that you barely had enough room to move around in, aside from adjusting your position. You heard nothing coming from the beast's insides, and all you could hear were its muffled screeches. You fought against the beast's organ, but the interior was barely flexible enough for you to fully extend your arms and legs. And yet, as time passed, you never felt the WAU's essence blink out of existence. And if Simon did indeed kill the Warden Unit, the only way to make sure it stayed dead was to destroy the only one who was immune to the new pattern. The only one immune to the new pattern would be Simon, but you couldn't kill him from here. Your inprisonment inside this beast was all his fault. If only you could escape, you would make him suffer for what he did. Eventually, you would find a way out, but you couldn't at the moment. All that was needed was time and effort. You wouldn't put effort into it now, as you were exhaused from fighting back. The silence was deafening, and you haven't slept since the WAU turned you into a monster. As you drifted off to sleep, you muttered the words "This is all your fault, Simon." before falling asleep.
