"One of the companies programs with respect to espionage that you may consider of interest is the Cl.ore program, which I will attempt to detail in this message, and later expand upon through speculation.

The product of a collaboration between the espionage, genetic engineering and genetic modification sectors, the best way to give a quick insight into the nature of the project is that the title cl.ore is a contraction of the words 'clone': meaning to replicate, and 'vore': meaning to consume.

Inspired by advancement in the field of DNA modification, the goal of the Cl.ore program was to create a living organism, effectively indistinguishable from the individual it was cloned, that could seamlessly take the place of the individual in question through engineered biological processes and subsequently influence events, as desired by the company, for the sake of espionage operations.

The key obstacle to developing such a product was firstly: rudimentary alterations to the acquired DNA to change the individual’s anatomy with respect to organ elasticity, bone placement and joint flexibility in order to accommodate the consumption of a fully grown human whole. And secondly: the considerably more complex task of assimilating the memories of that consumed into the clone to allow the full knowledge of the operational environment and theoretically guarantee long-term influence over the chosen political environment.

It is known that the project saw its completion, but as an intelligence gatherer exterior to the program, it's hard to truly gauge the full extent of the success the program had (or has) due to the programs covert nature and the difficulty that comes in identifying successful operations.

It may be possible to roughly estimate the full extent to which the program has been deployed by analyzing and reasoning from the single known recorded case, which will I will detail briefly here.

Case 1: The first case is of a one Linda R. Tailor. Residing in her hotel room on a business trip on behalf of a well-established international beverage company, Linda was the intended target of the Cl.ore program. On the hotel books as occupying room 12-B, Linda was seemingly saved from her fate due to an unexpected change in room following a verbal exchange between Linda and her neighboring hotel guest, who in passing expressed his desire to be in an east facing room so that he might have direct sunlight for his early morning yoga. Following hearing this, Linda agreed to an off the books room swap for the single night he was present. Seemingly, as a result, the Cl.ore organism consumed the wrong target and ultimately was rendered incapacitated due to an incompatibility in the biological processes. The organism was retrieved for study but subsequently lost in transit to the research facility.

Upon questioning, Linda recalled a strange visit to her regular general practitioner, in which she had her mouth swabbed for saliva after complaining about a mild headache. She thought out of place at the time but ultimately not worth questioning.

End case.

It's possible to make some basic deductions from this single case both the breadth of those that may be targeted and the time frame necessary for an operation, which I will speculate upon in my next message."

The attached text didn't get a proof reading or anything before going up, so if anyone that's good with those fiddly word thingimebobs wants to give it a once over I'd make sure the gesture is fully recognized.

Really cool idea.

Do the clone come with a standard look which then changes after they've eaten the victim?

As I envisioned it they are essentially a clone of the person, with the exception of changes to their anatomy and not originally possessing their memories. So yeah, they would look the same as their intended target, but would be mentally infantile and undeveloped. Perhaps even zombie like.

Is the woman in the picture based on Quiet from Metal Gear Solid?

I noticed the resemblance too. It wasn't done intentionally.
