The summer had settled in to stay, this much was clear. After the winter, one of the longest and coldest Shawn could remember, spring had been a relief. However, even spring had been ‘Too cold’ for what he could….if he stretched, call his ‘Roommates’. Thus, now that they were at the start of June, they hardly knew what to do with themselves, now that it wasn’t so cold out, they allowed their little ‘Pet’ a greater amount of movement about the city, even Seria’s dire orders to never let him far out of sight growing lax, now that they had seen that he was hardly going to run anywhere.
Thus he’d managed to, with the leftover wallets the trio tended to spit out after a while, buy some new clothes, get a good meal every now and again, and even get a few amenities for his ‘Owners’, the scented lotion being a favorite of Serena’s.
“Mmmmm…..” She murmured as Shawn’s hands went over her back, it shone in the light that fell, dappled, through the treeline. “Summer is blisssss….” Her forked tongue flicked from her lips and the colorful pattern of her scales rippled with pleasure.
While it wasn’t the most normal of living situations, Shawn found living with the three snakes to be an enjoyable life, particularly now that he got to move a toe more than once ever few dozen hours….
Seria lounged among the branches that made up their home, covered by the canopy, her varying shades of yellow complementing the green and the rays of the sun nicely. Her tail tip languidly swung back and forth as she sunned. “Great Serpina of the skies, why must this planet have any other season but this? I should petition.”
Shawn continued to rub Serena’s scales gently, feeling the slight give of her relaxed muscles, and the warmth she’d soaked up from the sun washing into his fingers. “I...don’t think there’s anyone to petition for that, Seria.”
The albino python opened one sharp eye and turned it towards him. “Then your species has obviously not tried hard enough.”
Something dripped onto Seria’s nose and she recoiled, her nearest lengths all bunching together defensively with a slightly undignified yelp. Her eyes zeroed in on a bit of pink sitting on the end of her snout and she gave an angry huff.
  “Caresse!”
“Whaaaaaaat?” The malleable serpent whined. “You two may be happy, but the heat index is higher than it’s been in the last hundred years today and my molecular structure is not meant to withstand this kind of thermal intake for prolonged stretches of time!”
Serena murmured sleepily under her massage. “And that means….what exactly?”
“I am, how you say,” Caresse said, that last part coming out in a sarcastically thick french accent, even for her. “Having a hard time keeping it together.” She huffed. “So until nightfall you will simply have to pardon my dripping!”
Seria gave a growl of disgust. “Remind me again why we do not leave her out in the rain?”
Serena mumbled, and rolled over onto her back. Shawn blushed as her belly scales pressed against his hands like a needy cat, rubbing themselves forwards in a slow torrent of motion that slid his lotion laden hands across those softer scales. “Because as you said,” she cleared her throat, putting on her best Seria accent. “Caresse, you are a great asset during the winter months at acquiring prey, you have earned your keep for the next few months if you do not disappoint me.”
The python cinched in on herself a little more with a low growl, mumbling something about having strangled beings for less than that impression.
“Well, I remain unstrangled…” Serena said languidly. “And leave the poor dear alone. She put up with us during the months we were rather in need. If I recall, you hogged her ‘living blanket’ ability for more nights than I did. So I would put up with a bit of mid day melting if I were you.”
“Finnnee…” She grumped, her forked tongue flicking about irritably. “But if she is going to be doing that, I am ssssslithering into the higher canopy.” Without further comment she did so with several graceful sinuous movements, the great bulk of her body, at points wider than Shawn was, shifting from the current level of branches, to the higher with surprising ease and speed, almost the way a fish would swim through water. Shawn watched her go, admiring the light glimmering of her scales.
It was only when a purple and green banded coil drizzled over his shoulders and tightened, forcing his eyes forwards, did he notice Serena glaring at him. “Less gawking, more rubbing.” Her belly scales pressed at his hands insistently again, to the point his hands sank into the girth of them a bit. “Toot suite.”
Shawn nodded, quelling his blush and resumed applying the sweet smelling lotion to those sensitive scales, earning a little coo and a flickering tongue from his charge.
He did this in silence for a little while, the sound of Serena’s scales against his hands, his fingers exploring every little crease and indent along her belly segments. While she’d lost some weight in the winter, the summer had obviously been fruitful, his hands pressed deeply into those soft scales, and sank for some time before hitting the muscle that drove her. She applauded his deep probings with pleasured hisses and motions of her serpentine form against his palms, rippling and arcing whenever he hit a particularly pleasant spot and not presenting him with any more of herself to touch until it had been properly pampered.
This activity wasn’t interrupted until Caresse spoke up.
“You know...she left awfully easily. When I first arrived she would have at least threatened to put me in a bottle before wandering off in a huff.”
Serena cracked an eye. “Your point?”
“Well…” Caresse looked up into the canopy, where Seria could be seen as a silhouette against the sunlight, a long spooling length of serpent winding and curling about various branches so as to best catch the light. “Hasn’t she seemed...nicer lately?”
Serena gave a shrug of her long neck, which moved the coil Shawn had been rubbing from in front of him, to squarely in his lap, which made the human stiffen, though this was mostly ignored. “Perhaps the heat has her in a good mood.”
“True….” Caresse eyed the canopy for a bit longer. “Though...what if she has a softer side?”
“You say that like she’s made of stone. She’s plenty soft to me~” The smirk that Serena got across her muzzle at this was enough to make even Caresse pinken slightly.
“Y-you know what I mean…” She gave her opposite a glare. “I think perhaps cohabitating has made her a more friendly serpent.” Her red lips curled into a smile. “And if I’m not mistaken, she would dislike this fact.”
If Serena had ears they would have perked, instead Shawn felt a ripple of motion across his lap that made him attempt to close his legs as he tried to keep up the massage he’d been tasked with. “Ooooh….I see what you’re getting at…”
Caresse nodded conspiratorially. “Yesssss….” She chuckled. “Perhaps a little bit of payback for her haughtiness?”
“Well….I do love a good trick, snakes are known for our cunning after all…” Shawn blushed a bit more as the coil in his lap curled back around and braced itself against the small of his back, pressing against his lower belly with that sunlit warmth as it squeezed smoothly. “Isn’t that right, Shawn? What the humans say?”
  “O-oh….well it’s just a few stories here and there…”
Serena righted herself a bit, curling towards her previous masseuse, who had paused his ministrations when the full brunt of her attention focused on him. She tightened the coil in his lap, still letting it sit heavily, its weight dripping across his inner thighs as her neck rolled over his shoulders to bring her head to rest on his left, pressing his cheeks upwards. “What kind of stories?”
Shawn stammered. “W-well you know...fairy tales and old world stuff….snakes are generally…”
His lips were forced into a comical scrunch as Serena tightened her hold around his neck and shoulders, framing his face like a living, tightening travel pillow as the coil in his lap began to slowly undulate. Shawn squirmed and fidgeted, but this only served to make the contact worst. “And how are snakes usually portrayed in these storiesssss?” She asked, the twin tines of her tongue painting trails of wetness along his cheeks.
  “W-well I….I-I mean it’s…”
“Go on, Shawn, no judgement.” Serena purred.
“Nngn….” Shawn bit his lip as the length of her body in his lap actively began pressing downwards between his legs, forcing them apart with its downwards weight, drooping against his inner thighs and groin.
  “W-well they’re….nnf….generally...treacherous….sneaky….”
Serena nodded, and Caresse chuckled from the branches beyond her bit of fun. Serena turned to her. “Well then my treacherous bedfellow…” A smirk, despite it being a pun, snaked its way across her snout. “I think it’s time to live up to our ancestors and do something a bit...sssneaky…” She chuckled. “Seria will see what she gets for calling me a runaway rainbow the other day.”
Caresse nodded, eyes full of a new admiration “Well now, here I thought you were the nice one…” She joined Serena in smirking. “Soo then, how do we go about this?”
“Well….” Her coils tightened on Shawn a little more, the human now holding a comically large section of her neck across his shoulders as she slithered towards Caresse, cupping his cheeks tightly with its size. They both looked back to him. “We’re going to need a certain someone's’ assistance…”

Seria slithered back down to the center of the tree, where the branches were thickest, only to find Shawn by himself, standing with his arms clasped behind his back, his face very red. She glanced around the various twisting greenery, but found no trace of the other two serpents.
“Where have they gone?” She asked, without greeting Shawn besides a little nod.
“O-oh...Caresse was dripping everywhere, so Serena offered to go with her to find a different tree in the park to stay in during the day, with more shade, since it annoyed you so much.”
“Hmmm,” Seria gave a nod, accepting this. “Good. I was not looking forwards to a summer of slithering through puddles. She already spreads her pink where it should go enough as it is.” She sniffed distastefully, lifting an eye-ridge. “So, that means that it is just you and I here, yes?”
Shawn nodded. “Indeed…” He looked down at his feet and grabbed the bottle of lotion he’d been using on Serena. “If you like I could lotion your scales, they must grow awfully dry in the heat, it might make you more comfortable.”
The albino looked him up and down. “If I should wish to smell like some herbivore's fruit patch, I will make sure you are the first to be alerted.” Shawn ‘Oomphed’ as a thick section of her middle rose from a branch and pressed itself against his chest, knocking him backwards and into sitting position. “However, if you should like to rub the tension from my muscles without such a silly aid as that, then I shall oblige your shameless coil lust.”
Shawn stiffened, his cheeks flushing redder. “I-It’s not...I-I don-”
The coil at his chest pressed him backwards until he fell off the wide branch he’d been situated on. He yelped, falling through open space for several moments before a wide length of Seria’s body wound its way around his middle, it slowed his descent, before acting as a sling shot of sorts. Shawn’s stomach dropped as he flipped upside down back towards Seria’s waiting gaze.
The tip of her tail wrapped wide before snapping tight, capturing both his legs and bringing them together in mid air, before all at once it began to ooze up along his body, flowing down his trapped legs through the thin jogging outfit he’d decided to wear for the heat. She had him wound up to his hips in seconds, and she let her tail advance slowly as she smirked at him, the predatory expression upside down from his vantage point as she let him swing back and forth like the pendulum of the world’s largest grandfather clock.
“You….are very warm...and not from the heat…” Her coils surged with a squeeze, and Shawn found the backs of his palms subject to her hold as she continued to swing him gently. “Under those silly second skins you wear, despite the fact you are in the kind of situation prey-things everywhere have nightmares about, you are quite obviously.” The band of scale across his crotch squeezed inwards, giving a rippling flex. “Aroused.”
Another surging squeeze and he was up to his shoulders, the end of her tail lathered against his neck before it pressed against the side of it firmly. “And your pulse has tripled if not quadrupled. You are both frightened, and embarrassingly turned on.” Her coils continued up along his neck, squeezing around his jaw and framing his face as she slithered in closer, her wide snout smirking at him. “Coil.” She squeezed the breath from him with a slow pressure from his toes to his cheeks in a gentle rising motion that drew a grunt from him. “Lust.”
She held him for a moment longer, letting him feel her power, before she suddenly loosened all at once. This sent him flopping to the ground like a beached whale, gasping and flailing spastically in surprise, not to mention blushing like a strawberry patch.
“Care to question my assertions again?” She flicked her tongue.
Shawn righted himself and rubbed his arm, he’d hit it on the way down and it was slightly red from impact. Seria stared in confusion for a few moments, before grasping that he was at all injured. She slithered close to examine.
“Oh yes...I forgot...You are very soft and squishy.”
Shawn gave her a look.
“What? You are. Is this not evidence of that? You have no scales for protection, nor anything else to keep all of your warm blood on the inside of you. If it were not for your industrious breeding, I do not know how you would’ve become so prolific of a species honestly.”
Shawn blinked. “Thanks...I think…”
Seia was quiet for a moment, before tilting her head. “Are you in need of medical attention? If I recall you said there was a ‘Doctor’s’ office on this block from that one time you had a fever, though I don’t know why you took anything for it, it made you delightfully warm.”
Shawn shook his head. “No...I’m fine, it’s just a bit sore is all...it might bruise…” He frowned.
“Sore…” Seria said, considering. “I did not intend to drop you that hard. Despite your squishiness, you are usually quite resilient.”
“W-well admittedly there’s usually a bit more forewarning than tha-”
His words cut short as one of her thickest lengths pressed against his back and pushed him closer to her examining gaze. It was thick enough to cover him from the small of his back to just below his shoulders with a single band. She looked at his arm, which wasn’t getting any darker, but still looked a little red. Her tongue flicked out and touched it, Shawn didn’t recoil.
“It is not tender to the touch?”
Shawn shook his head. “Not really, I think I landed weird. Might be more of a muscle strain than anything.” He blushed a touch as he was pushed closer still, Seria righted her head to his level and there was less than an inch between the two of them. “I may be able to assist with that.”
Shawn felt the coil at his back curl to the side, herding him towards more waiting coils. If he had any objections, they were lost as the coil against his back oozed forwards and braced his back as it curled over his shoulder. Winding around his front, the rest of her tail following it to the tip as she began to spin him towards that mass she had laying in wait. He was wrapped up on two fronts, upwards and downwards. There was little he could do to defend or recover much in the way of agency.
His arms were free for all of a second before those thick middle coils draped themselves in thick circles around his middle, pinning them with feet of snakeskin between them and any kind of movement. His legs vanished in equal measure, the coils around his feet so thick he was forced onto his tippy toes before his feet left the ground entirely and he was encased in a pillar of scale. Seria closed the gap between them, his face compressed on all sides by a girthy center coil. “I did not mean to injure you, Shawn, allow me to help…”
Just as Serena’s had been, Seria’s coils were sun warmed and soft to the touch, her muscles more pliant than they had been in the winter, the hold more snug, the temperature of a bath perhaps.
Shawn was unused to Seria’s hold being anything but a press of predatory pressure, but she held him gently, softly, and, after a moment for him to acclimate, she gave a small ripple through her body. It started just above where her coils around his body started, and flowed around in a sensual wave that grew in strength as it reached his shoulder, before going on to relax the rest of his body. Shawn made a little noise despite himself as she continued this slowly undulating her body around his own, holding it so completely, yet sweetly. Shawn found his muscles turned to jelly, he felt the soreness of his arm ebb from the attention, the pain of the muscles tensed and strained the wrong way from the fall, melted away as he gave a gentle breath of surprise at the sudden pleasure.
Seria nestled up onto the topmost coil, her neck shifting around to rest near his head as she eyed him, under her power, yet, for the moment, seemingly for no other reason than to make up for her momentary mistake.
“I apologize.”
If Shawn’s jaw would have been in a place to move properly, he would have asked if he’d heard what he just heard, or perhaps done a double take. But it was tucked shut by the coil pressed around his face.
“I have been hard on you I suppose. Harder than my fellows, though you must take into account that before being taken to this land, far from by my own will mind you, my concerns were all purely predatory. It is an...adjustment to deal with the idiosyncrasies of ‘Emotions’ outside of hunger.”
Shawn’s look told her that hunger did not count as an ‘Emotion’ she returned that look with a glare. “You know what I mean.” She huffed. “We shared the stories of our origins not too long ago. Serena fell in love with a man, and Caresse is, supposedly, made of the stuff, but it is more complex for me. I have only used affection and occasionally enthrallment as a means for dinner. You are probably the only person on earth who has ever heard me speak, and stayed on this side of my stomach for more than an hour afterwards.”
If she expected him to reply, she gave no indication, and made no move to allow him to do so, her coils continued their gentle attentions, applying a bit more pressure but still not enough to make that snug hold anything less than blindingly pleasant.
“I am brusque because I know no other way to be, but I think...if I may tell you this, and if you do let either of our companions know then we shall test the pounds per square inch your bones can take, that with all of this, I might be….happy beyond the usual bouts of it I experience after a hefty meal, or with a struggling preything in my coils.”
Shawn grunted and wheezed as her coils tightened far beyond the pressure of a massage, he heard a few of his joints pop. Seria’s eyes widened for a second in recognition..
“Oh. Sorry….”
Her coils loosened back to something more gentle.
“In anycase, it is my way to take what I like, and at some point I will probably devour you if one of the other girls does not, as that is how I show my affection for my prey, but know that, before that point I will never injure you on purpose….” She paused, then added an addendum. “Besides mild coil bruises.” She looked over his expression. “Is this acceptable?”
Though Shawn couldn’t properly nod, she felt his attempts against her belly scales. “Grand…” She nodded in return. “Now, you will need more time to heal that bruise…” She leaned in a bit closer and rested her chin atop his head. He felt her sigh through the vibrations of her body, his world dark besides the feel of her scales. He let her hold him and knead his body into a warm sleepy haze, though it was not as though he had much of a choice in the matter…

“Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!!.....” Shawn heard a voice as the sleep he’d fallen into receded. He opened his eyes to find himself lying on a thick branch. Serena ‘s head slithered from under a branch.
  “Whah?....” He said groggily.
“Caresse used her malleability to help me stick to the underside of the branches, we heard everything. I was going to lord this over her head and gloat, but that was SO genuinely adorable I can’t bear it!”
“...Where is Seria?” Shawn asked sleepily.
Serena nodded towards the lower branches, and Shawn’s eyes widened as he looked down to see a pair of hands sticking from Seria’s lips, slurped up like noodles before her forked tongue wound around her prey’s fingers and a wriggling bulge made its way slowly into her body with continual flexes of her throat muscles, constantly squeezing and pressing it deeper inwards.
“Eating a lawyer.” She nodded. “She’ll be done shortly as you can see, but don’t mention this whole...plan thing? We thought she’d either cuddle you a bit like a teddy bear, or eat you, but the accidental injury!? The nurse maiding!? That admission!? It was just perfect!”
  Shawn blinked. “W-wait, eat m-”
“Nevermind all that, just...don’t bring it up to her, okay?”
  Shawn nodded. “Alright….”
“Good.” Serena smiled, and Caresse pulled herself together nearby as she slithered down to the albino. Shawn watched as she twined her neck with Seria’s and nuzzled against Seria’s newest plaything. The Albino smiled and leaned into the attention, the pair of them swaying as the sunset.
“Ahhhh, so cute…” Caresse commented with a smile. “Not a bad little cabal we’ve put together, no?”
Shawn looked from the pair to Caresse, and then to the sunset, smiling a bit himself. It was...odd to say the least, but he had to agree.
“No….no, it isn’t.” He stood up, and went to find the lotion. “Want a massage, Caresse?”
“Oooh Oui, though I warn you, it might be a bit harder than most...or softer, depending on my mood.” She chuckled.
“Oh well, we’ll see about that as it comes, I’m finding I like surprises.”

Another story in that series about Shawn sharing a tree with three strange snakes who have decided to keep him as a pet. Seria shows her kind side in this story, don't tell anyone though, she'll eat you.
