Shawn walked through the town square on the way to its northmost point. A large building with faux grass on either side stretched up in front of him reading ‘Safari Zone’ in bright green and yellow letters.
Safari Zones had been popular in other regions, but hadn’t spread much outside the Kanto region. This one, however had recently opened up by popular demand from people in the Kalos region. The tropical setting meant that there were strange pokemon that couldn’t be found anywhere else but here, even variations on long known pokemon that no one had ever seen before. This rarity, and the hit-or-miss chance of a safari zone, made for a perfect mix and he aimed to capitalize on it.
Shawn fiddled with his belt, feeling the pokeballs sitting on its various hooks. He wanted to bring his pokemon inside, but he knew that was against Safari Zone rules, he’d have to catch pokemon by his wit and wit alone, timing things just right so that they didn't’ run off.
He’d been on his pokemon journey for some time now, and he’d gotten a respectable party, the crown jewel of which was a Seviper he’d managed to catch near the third gym he’d tackled. He’d miss not having her at his side, but the chance to add some rare pokemon to his pokedex as too much of a temptation not to at least give it a go. Besides, at the worst he’d have simply wasted an afternoon and would be out five-hundred mons.
The door jingled as he opened it. The inside followed the same faux grass motif as the outer facade did, with mushrooms as waiting area seats and various painted pokemon hiding among fake trees to either side of a happily painted grassy desk.
Behind this a woman perhaps a year or two older than Shawn sat reading a magazine. He couldn’t see her face, but her hair was piled so high atop her head it bordered on being an architectural structure.
She looked up from her magazine as he walked closer, and Shawn watched as a Treeko scuttled along the wall behind her, tilting its head owlishly to size him up.
“Good morning.” She smiled and gave a nod, Shawn wondered if she nodded too far, if she might topple over like a badly constructed lego building. “Welcome to the Kalos Safari Zone, my name is Elise and I’ll be helping you this evening. Are you looking to go on Safari? If so, I’ll need you to place your pokeballs in,” she produced a bowl from nowhere. “This bowl until the safari is done, at which point they will be returned to you safe and sound. That or returned to your Personal PC if you should not return.”
Shawn’s eyes had glazed slightly at the perfect ‘Professional tone’ of that little speech, but at that last bit the haze was broken and he blinked. “Uh...what?”
She shrugged. “Accidents happen. I have to alert you so our insurance covers it. It’s nothing to worry about.”
“Oh…” Shawn said uncertainly. “Alright then...well yes I’d like to go on safari then.” He fished in his pocket for the money, but Elise raised a hand. “It’s free on Saturday, it’s a sale promotion.”
“Oh…” Shawn found himself smiling a bit. That was good, pokemon weren’t cheap to feed, and if he were going to pick up some new ones on this trip then that money could go towards ingratiating them with a treat or two. “Alright then! I’m never one to turn down a sale.”
She nodded. “No one is. It helps us out really, gets more people passing through here on
the weekends so the pokemon get a little extra, er….” She waved a hand vaguely and her Treeko climbed up her shoulder. Shawn’s brow furrowed further as the grass type climbed up her massive hair and the strange structure showed no signs of bending even slightly under its weight. The gecko-ish creature perched its head at the top of the hairdo like a strange hat. She took no notice of this. “Exercise. That way they’re less rowdy during the week.” She finished.
Shawn thought the woman a bit odd, but gave an internal shrug. A free chance to catch some rare pokemon was too good to pass up for the oddities of one receptionist.
“Sounds good to me.” He took his pokeballs off his belt and placed them in the bowl. The woman took it and placed in in whatever void existed under that counter to hold things.
“Grand!” She grinned, and the Treeko on her head attempted to mimic the expression, but on the odd reptile it looked utterly alien. “Just out that door pass the giant faux stump, the safari zone is several acres wide, so you’ll find that a GPS map of the place has been downloaded into your Pokedex to ensure that you return in one piece. There’s also a bag of safari balls on a hook under the ‘Good luck sign’ along with a small satchel of berries of your choice. I recommend the scale shine berries, native only to Kalos. She likes those.”
Shawn came up short a step. “Who likes those?”
“Pokemon like them. In Kalos ‘She’ can be plural.” She rattled off with that same plastic smile, the Treeko’s got wider as well and Shawn chose to simply back up slowly.
“Alllllright then….” He said , grabbing the sack of Safari balls and looping the satchel of berries she’d suggested through his belt. With only a backward glance to the odd pair, he was out and into the Safari Zone proper.
It was a fantastic day for this, the sky was blue and summer had reached its peak and passed so the air was just slightly cool and not uncomfortable. He took a deep breath and set off towards the tall grass.
Kalos being a tropical region there were palm trees swaying every few feet along with the random patches in which pokemon might hide. Shawn glanced around the clearing where the zone and started wondering which direction he should go, though something niggled at the back of his mind….For a free day at a safari zone so popular he’d come to this town specifically for that reason and nothing else...it was totally empty besides himself.
He only let this bug him for a moment however. That just meant the pokemon would be plentiful. This pushed to the back of his mind, he set off in a random direction, grabbing one Safari ball in hand and keeping it at the ready.
He walked slowly, taking his time. He didn’t have any pokemon at his disposal so he’d have to use his guile and cunning.
There was silence for the first few minutes of Shawn’s safari experience, he began to worry. Eventually, however, he heard a rustle in the tall grass to his left. A flash of yellow caught his eye before it vanished, Shawn quickly changed course and perused, following the shifting grass until the pokemon within ran into a clear area.
It was a Raichu, a Kalos region variant, it’s lighter fur tone and bouncy hollow ears and tail marking it as such. Shawn’s heart fluttered, his first pokemon, a super rare Kalos variant! He’d have to catch it.
“Hey little guy…” He said, trying to keep his voice even and calm. “Wanna come home with me?” He slowly stepped closer, clicking the button on the safari ball in his hand, feeling it expand to full size against his palm. With his left hand he reached down for the berries that Elise had advised him to grab, hoping they would be as helpful as she’d said. They were oddly shaped, he realized as he felt one against his fingers. He could see why they were called Scaleshine berries. They were fairly large, slightly smaller than a pear and shaped like diamonds, each one nearly perfect, just like the scales of a snake.
He palmed it gently, before offering it out to the Raichu. The lightning mouse’s eyes widened, and for a moment he thought it was in desire to eat the berry, but it seemed to shudder for a moment before bolting as fast as it could.
“Wait!” Shawn chased after it, dropping the Scaleshine berry as he tried to keep up with the faster rodent pokemon. He ducked under branches and around palm fronds in an attempt to keep up.
Shawn was starting to think he should have taken up jogging before coming here. He couldn’t keep up the chase and had to let off, leaning against the trunk of one of the tropical trees that filled the area and trying to catch his breath.
“Darnit…” He sighed, before giving a shrug. “Well…” He mumbled to himself. “I found one after only a few minutes, there must be more I’ll j-”
He reached down to put the safari ball he’d grabbed back in his bag, only to find it was gone. He cursed under his breath and turned around. He’d been running hard, he probably dropped it during the chase.
Shawn retraced his steps, they hadn’t run all that far and he found the bag laying on the ground near where he’d dropped the Scaleshine berry. He looked for the berry but didn’t see it, some enterprising pokemon had probably snapped it up. As he reached down to grab the bag, however, he saw something that made him come up short.
From the tall grass just a few inches away, the tail of a Raichu jutted out, waving back and forth.
“There you are…” He said under his breath, slowly stepping towards it. He knew better than to grab the tail of an electric type, he’d been electrocuted before and didn’t fancy doing it again. Instead, he grabbed another berry, thinking perhaps the last one was a fluke and held it out towards the tail waving it back and forth. “Come on, lil guy, come o-”
His voice petered out as the grass parted. At the end of the tail was not in fact a Raichu...but the serpentine head of an Arbok.
The long black rope of the Raichu’s tail twitched and shook fitfully from beyond it’s purple lips. The snake pokemon seemed to smile around its prize, its hood flared, the colorful designs along its underside shining in the light.
Shawn fell back in shock as the Arbok reared up in the classic S pose of serpents in front of him. To his shock, he could see the vague shape of the Raichu in its throat, occasional bulges pushing out and distending the scales where it kicked or wiggled its paws. It might of been his imagination, but at the edge of his hearing he could’ve sworn he could hear the pokemon’s muffled call as well.
Shawn stuttered stupidly. He knew, perhaps on some level, that pokemon ate each other, that was the food chain, but out in the civilized world most humans were vegetarian, and most predatory pokemon were given pellets and poffins that tended to their dietary needs without anything so...wild. He stared transfixed as the Arbok took its time, audibly slurping up the Raichu’s tail like some kind of struggling spaghetti noodle.
It opened its maw wide and gave a sigh of relief, the back of its throat physically moving in waves from the struggle of its occupant and the efforts of swallowing.
Shawn scooched back on his hands and knees, before realizing that he had a bag full of safari balls. He shakily reached for one, thinking that at least if the catch didn’t take, it might fend off the hungry serpent.
As he looked on, he noticed just how...big the pokemon was. He’d looked up Arbok’s in the pokedex before . At their longest, Arbok’s generally grew to be eleven feet long. This one might have been three times that, he could see peaks of its lengthy body shifting between the blades of grass.
Shawn cocked his arm back, clicking the button to enlarge the device. Before he could hurl it though, something thick and smooth wound around his wrist. He yelped and looked back to see purple segmented coils wound just below his palm, two loops covering his arm down to the elbow. He tried to pull it free, but he might as well have been pulling against steel bonds.
  “I wouldn’t try that…” said a voice.
Shawn’s eyes widened, he slowly looked from his wrapped wrist back towards the snake, his mouth open dumbly.
Before he could ask the obvious, the voice sounded again. It was a deep, almost regal sounding voice that matched the purple shade of her scales rather well. Her voice was a gentle hiss of sound that reeked of a certain confidence. Shawn stuttered, his mind reeling. “Yes, I can talk, no, you’re not dreaming, and you are not going to catch me…”
The end of her tail arced up into the air and Shawn found himself hoisted up like a ragdoll onto his tippy toes, hardly touching the ground at all as she held him up with ease, looking him over. “You’re cute…”
Shawn blushed, wiggling a bit in her grip. “W-what?! W-what’s going on! Y-you’re a pokemon, you can’t talk!”
The Arbok tilted her head. “You talk to your pokemon, don’t you?”
“Well…” Shawn was a bit taken aback. “Yes…”
“And they seem to understand every word you say with almost no training, yes?”
  “W-well...I mean not every wo-”
Her hood flared a bit in amusement and she chuckled. “Then it’s not that much of a stretch to think that a few of us might learn to talk...it’s jussssst a matter of getting one’sss tongue to do what one wantssss….” Her smile took on a sharp edge. “And I’m very good at that as our...little Raichu friend is well aware currently.” They both glanced down at the still squirming bulge working its way further down her body by the moment.
“I-I see…” Shawn said shakily. “W-well I’m sorry for interrupting your, er…” Another glance to that bulge as a visible flex of her lengthy throat shuttled her struggling meal deeper into her body. “Lunch...B-but if you’ll just let me go then I’ll just continue my safari and won’t trouble you again, hmm?” He said hopefully.
“Oh, don’t be silly…” She slithered up to him and pressed her cheek against his, her scales cool as her hood cured around his back almost like a friendly arm might, though the tone of her voice brokered little option for friendly argument. “The sssummer is ending, my ssssweet.” She said ‘Sweet’ the way someone might describe a candy. She curled her neck around his middle, her scales, thicker around than his torso, pressing against the tender sides of his belly as she held his hand aloft. She came around to his front and poised, inches away from his face, a slight glint from her fangs as she talked. “It’s getting unbearably cold.”
Shawn blinked as he felt the fairly warm air against his skin. It was hardly a hair under 70 he was sure of it, but then he supposed he wasn’t cold blooded.
“I need to keep warm and the creatures of the Kalos region are so pitifully small...bite sized you could say…” She chuckled deeply at her little joke, and Shawn yelped as her tail swung him backwards, before using the leverage to toss him back towards her body.
Shawn threw his hands back to attempt and halt his fall, only to find them tangled up behind him in shifting loops of her body, thick shifting coils pressing against his back and legs like cool, soft leather. He tried to lift his hands up and push at the lengths of Arbok as they nestled in around him, pressing in at his sides and curling over his legs like a seat made of quicksand, but the loops his arms were tangled in tightened and he found little agency.
“I could use a warmblood to keep me company...I promise not to eat you...unless pickings get particularly slim in this part of the zone…”
Shawn wiggled a bit, but there was no way get up unless she allowed him to. “W-well I can’t stay here, my pokemon are waiting…”
“Nonsense...Elise will make sure they get to the proper place, that’s what she’s hired for…”
Shawn balked a bit. “Wait...hired for?”
She nodded. “Oh yes, it’s part of the deal. The Kalos region is home to many odd aberrations as far as pokemon go...some of us are a bit more…” Her coils pressed against his back a little more firmly and he stiffened as he felt a bulge push out from inside against his shoulders. “Predatory than others...smarter too...and larger…” She gave a serpentine shrug that rippled down along her body, earning more struggles from the prisoner within her body. “Thus, so they don’t have to try the useless effort of hunting us, and we don’t eat people or pokemon at random, we are allowed to take what we wish from those who come into this place twice a week…”
Shawn was at a loss for words. “Y-you mean the sale just lures people here so you can...d-do whatever you want!?”
She nodded. “Oh yes…” A coil poured over his midriff, pressing against his belly button through his shirt, pushing him deeper into his living seat. “Though you don’t have to worry, I haven’t got a huge taste for humans unlike some of the...other denizens.”
“Other denizens?” Shawn asked, his cheeks heating up as her body shifted around his, taking more of it to hold by the moment.
“Oh yes. I know I’m special, but I’m not so pompous as to think there’s no competition around here...however, I found you first sooo…” Her coils enfolded him yet more, he let out a little wheeze as they pressed him down into her grip. Not only were his arms pinned now, but his legs were also hopelessly lost among purple. “That means you’re mine. I hope you have no qualms about this, because I will listen to them, but I will not care so long as you continue to be warm, hmm?”
Shawn searched for something to get himself out of this predicament, his eyes searching around wildly. He needed something, anything to get him back to the doors of the Safari office. Still, fighting against her was like trying to fight against the ocean with a strainer. Every inch he gained in his small struggles was immediately taken up by the soft press of her body, filling every nook and cranny until he could hardly see much more of himself than the top of his shirt.
  “Get comfy...you’re going to b-”
She paused, and both of them stiffened as a low song hit their ears.
“Curses! Not now. She KNOWS this is my territory surely she would…” Her voice got a hair heavy. “Wouldn’t….try….” The Arbok suddenly yawned wide, her jaws opening enough that Shawn was rather cowed by how easily he’d fit between them, thick forked tongue lolling. “Any...thing…” She looked alert for just a moment. “Sing...She’s using...oh she wil…” The alertness vanished again and Shawn found his own eyes getting heavy. “She will...p….pay…”
The Arbok flopped forwards and Shawn found himself buried under her neck, her wide hood covering his body like a blanket, perhaps in some last possessive effort before her hissing snore hit his ears. Shawn thought about using this moment to escape, but his own eyes grew heavy and he found himself disinclined to move.
Before he could fully parse what was happening, he’d sank beyond the veil of wakefulness and drifted into the deepest sleep he’d ever known.

  ----

The sound of the wind rustling some leaves was the first thing Shawn heard as he surfaced from his dream. His eyes fluttered open and for a moment he thought he’d just woken up at another camp site on his pokemon journey. It wasn’t until he actually sat up and saw the bag of safari balls and scaleshine berries sitting next to him that it all came flooding back...but surely it had been some kind of dream, hadn’t it? The Raichu vanishing down the Arbok’s throat...being bound up in her coils...that hauntingly beautiful song…
Yet, it was further driven home what kind of predicament he was in, when he looked out and saw a sparkling ocean. He could see the vague shape of the Safari Office somewhere on the shore maybe two-hundred feet or so from his own shore...he was on an island, an island in the middle of the Safari zone. He had a feeling whatever had done the singing had taken him here.
On one hand, whatever it was that had done it, probably some other strange pokemon of the zone, had saved him. On the other, however, he doubted that it had done it for his own sake. The Arbok had hardly been altruistic, and if what she’d said about the true purpose of the zone had been true, then that meant he was unlikely to find a friendly face unless he ran into another human and the safari zone was oddly dead despite the sale. Perhaps others had heard tales? Maybe the disappearances had been noticed? How many trainers could go missing before someone started getting wise?
He got to his feet. Whatever had dragged him here, they were apparently unperturbed by the Safari balls or his berries. In fact, they'd’ taken the pains to make sure he had them, which was odd.
Seeing as they were the only even vaguely familiar things in the strange zone he’d entered, Shawn picked them up and placed them on his person. He looked out at the sea between him and the mainland. If he could get back, he’d have to deal with the strange Arbok, but at least he’d be closer to help. However, Shawn was not so strong a swimmer as to brave an ocean that deep and far in a free swim. If he could find a buoyant tree branch, or better yet, this was part of the Safari Zone and if the rangers held regular operations surely there might be a boat somewhere, then he could make it.
He set off into the island’s interior. Similar to the mainland it was mostly tropical in foliage, palms and small ferns being the main plant life around him. He progressed at a slightly wary pace. Whatever had brought him here was probably still nearby.
There didn’t seem to be any traditional kinds of trees that might have a useful branch he could use for a floatation device. The palms did have branches but they were higher off the ground than some buildings Shawn had seen. He also noticed a lack of any kind of civilization, like a shed in which a boat might be stored, or anything he might use to help him in his escape.
He grew steadily more worried as he walked around the base of a truly massive palm, before something slammed into his side. Shawn was sent sprawling onto the slightly sandy earth of the island floor as whatever had bumped into him was sent the same way.
He rubbed his head and looked in front of himself to see a Braixen doing the same. He stared, blinking.
“Ow…” The brightly colored fox mumbled.
Shawn leapt to his feet. “You can talk!”
The Braixen stood up and frowned. “You’re new here, aren’t you?” The voice marked the pokemon as male.
Shawn paused. He supposed he really shouldn’t have been surprised, but he was still reeling from the fact pokemon could learn to talk at all. He’d read in a magazine once about a Meowth who had learned, but he’d always assumed that was simple tabloid gossip.
“I guess…” He continued lamely. “Where are we?”
The Braixen suddenly looked a bit cagey, eyes darting around nervously. He reached behind him and grabbed the stick jutting out of his tail, and holding it in a wary defensive stance.
“Sepharina’s island…” he said, his voice ringing with a certain reverence.
“Who’s Sepharinia?...Is she who brought me here? Do you know how to get off the island? Maybe...I don’t know, know any talking water types? So long as I’m dealing with talking pokemon.”
The Braixen shook his head. “There’s no way off...she might be watching right now...she’s...she’s possessive...I’ve been here for weeks...I’ve avoided her b-” He started, looking towards a random direction, his large triangular ears twitching. “I-I gotta go!”
He turned and sprinted off into the trees before Shawn could get another word out. He vanished like a fish into water. Shawn frowned, and looked towards the direction the Braixen had glanced so worriedly in.
On one hand, he was feeling wary, on the other, he was curious. Who was Sepharina? Another pokemon surely, but which one? Maybe he could get a peek, just so he would know what to avoid.
Though the earth was soft and sandy, Shawn found himself tiptoeing towards a large fern that blocked his view. He peeked through its leaves, where he found a clearing.
There was indeed another pokemon, and she was enormous.
Milotic’s were generally longer than most other snake pokemon in the world, maxing out at twenty five or thirty feet. Shawn had seen them on TV from time to time, being a favorite of outgoing television personalities due to their colorful scales and reputations as ‘The most beautiful pokemon.’
This one was bigger than any other of its kind Shawn had ever seen by a factor of five if not ten. She had eaten well in this strange zone, that much was clear. Wherever her body curled or bunched, her scales squished together with a healthy weight, thicker around at the thinner portions of her body that Shawn could see, than the Arbok had been by a long shot. She was a leviathan of a pokemon and currently she stared down at a Combusken, pinned against a wall of her body. Her deep red eyes, the size of hubcaps, looked down at the terrified bird pokemon with an odd kindness, edged just slightly by a certain predatory hunger. Twin, red, silken flaps framed her massive head, blew gently in the breeze from the ocean as her strange eyebrow like tentacles waved about near her prey.
The Milotic spoke, not aloud, but in Shawn’s head. She was talking to her cornered preything, but the power of her thoughts was so great Shawn heard them by proxy.
“Come, little one...accept my embrace…”
“N-no…” The Combusken said, shaking as he attempted to back further away. All this served to do was press him into the softness of her scales, the give of her body spilling around his shoulders and sides a bit as looked for any avenue of escape.
“Would it really be so bad?...” That massive wall of flesh against his back curled inwards and framed him further. It pushed his shoulders together as the odd tendrils above her eyes snaked forwards to stroke his cheeks and tickle across the front of his chest. The gesture might have been motherly if it weren’t for how unwanted the attention was. Instead, it showed a certain dominance. She could touch him anywhere she wanted to and he could do little but squirm. She pinned him in more tightly, squishy scales on either side of his body pushing against him, forcing him to be still against the probing touches of those tendrils. “It is soft inside me, unbelievably soft, warm against the coming cold, and you may become a part of the most beautiful being known, part of this body that winds and holds others in its coils.”
The combusken squirmed and tightened its beak. “W-why don’t you just eat me and get it over with?”
“I am the pokemon of calm, my dear, the pokemon of beauty…” One of those tendrils wrapped gently around the fighting type’s neck, the blunt end stroking along the tender front of his throat. “Nothing so ugly as that will do. I am the one who rises from the depths to calm wars and soothe ills. It is my gaze under which anger and fear dies. I could eat you, yes, and I will, but you, my dear, will ask me to do it, and you will be glad for my eternal company…”
“I-I won-”
“You will…” She said, her voice as calm as ever...the beautiful fanlike drapes on either side of her head glowed a pale pinkish red and began to slowly ebb with light. Waves of it arced outwards like waves of water from the center of disturbance like a dropped stone.
The waves of energy were thin and whispy by the time they reached Shawn from his vantage point behind the ferns. Still, despite his distance, his fear at what he was seeing was suddenly pushed lightly into the background, as though he were standing in the warmth of a fire after a cold day. It was hard to be worried about much of anything.
The Combusken’s shuddering slowly ebbed and eventually stopped, his body seemed to relax and instead leaned into the softness of the coils pressing in at his back and shoulders. The tendril around his neck continued its gentle stroking and the pokemon’s squirms turned from those of discomfort to something more...sensual.
“Tell me…” Milotic said in Shawn’s head. “Do I seem so bad? Is my hold not soft? Is my touch not gentle, is my maw not…” And for the first time she opened her mouth, tilting her head back a little to let out a hot breath that ruffled the Combusken’s feathers, strands of saliva stringing just slightly between her soft lips. “Inviting?”
The combusken looked conflicted for a moment, before his expression turned placid and he smiled up into that wet, fleshy cavern.
“Mmph….” He managed, squirming as he looked, lovestruck, up at the serpent’s beautiful shape, the picture of grace and femininity, offering him sanctuary. “Y-yes…” He practically moaned.
“Yes what…” She said, her mind speaking out to all, her maw still open, undulating gently with the urge to hold him close.
“Take….me…”
“There you are, dear…” She leaned slowly closer, his feathers ruffled by her breath as her mouth slowly came to fold over him. “Let me take you home…”
Shawn watched as his head dipped into that fold of soft scales, gently taking him into her maw before tilting her head back. The smaller pokemon’s lower body fidgeted in a docile, almost pleased manner from her lips. Her tendrils flowed down and stroked his body, easing him inwards, keeping him calm as her tongue slipped out, thick and forked to wind about his belly. It pulled him inside until little was jutting from her eternal embrace besides his clenching clawed feet, the occasional vague bulge of his body pressing against her cheeks before she sucked this too inside.
Her swallow was audible. It sounded across the clearing a final sound, yet still gentle and beautiful in its own way. Shawn supposed it was impossible for it to be anything else. He watched, for the second time that day, and yet entirely different from the first, as a living pokemon sank, whole and wiggling, into the body of another.
The Milotic gave a sigh of pleasure, her tendrils stroking over the bulge, poking at little impressions that pushed and poked out from her pudgy scales, calming him to the last. So thick was her body that it didn’t take long for any sign of the fighting type to be lost entirely. She patted her throat gently.
“Welcome...join with me and be at peace…” She curled up onto herself, and nuzzled at her scales. Though Shawn couldn’t see him anymore, he had the feeling she could still feel her prey moving inside her, and lay in the sun of the clearing to enjoy the sensation.
His thoughts on this were interrupted as those red eyes opened and stared directly into his brown ones.
“I hope you have enjoyed the show, it is a preview of your fate. Look upon me and know that you will ask in dulcet, loving tones to be devoured by my body.”
Shawn started, falling backwards in shock. The proximity to whatever she had done to the combusken left him slightly addled, but he had enough of his own faculties to scramble back, get shakily to his feet and run as fast as possible in the opposite direction, trying to shake thoughts of how nice it might feel to be within the loving crush of the Milotic’s coils, before feeling the tighter, more permanent crush of her throat.
He shook his head to clear it, more vehemently than before, taking deep breaths. Getting that influence out of his head, even after getting hit with it at such a distance, was like trying to get molasses off of his skin with a dry napkin. No matter how much he rubbed at it mentally, it seemed to stick and cling to his consciousness.
By the time he’d ran a fair ways he’d managed to get rid of most of it, but he noticed that she hadn’t followed him...with her size she could have caught up with him easily. She wasn’t doing that though….why?
Shawn felt like in that short amount of time he’d kind of gotten to ...know her. She’d left an imprint on him, like a beautiful tattoo on the very fabric of his soul...she wasn’t chasing him because she did not chase...She waited….it was inevitable that those who she wanted would come to her, in her mind there was no better alternative in all the world.
Now that he knew she wouldn’t chase him, he paused and pressed his back against a large palm. The pointed bark was uncomfortable, but he hadn’t had any proper sleep in who knew how long. Had a full day passed when he’d been out the first time? Only a few hours? He felt unmoored from time, as well as the world he knew, this new world filled with talking pokemon and dangerous predators.
He caught his breath, trying to plan his next move. There was no boat, and no branches thick enough to be useful in helping him float back to the mainland. He was starting to contemplate swimming, but he didn’t like his prospects there…
He almost jumped out of his skin with a clawed hand reached out from his side and dragged him to the left. He tried to pull back, but the pokemon it belonged to was too strong.
It was the Braixen from earlier, he glared backwards at Shawn was he was tugged forwards.
“W-what?” Shawn asked confused.
“Shut up. Come on.”
They ran for a little ways, Shawn was winded, but curiosity and a slight adrenaline kept him going until they reached the entrance to a cave. He was dragged bodily inside, to find that instead of the rather sparse cave interior, it was furnished with what looked like an assortment of waiting room chairs that had been pilfered from somewhere, along with a table that was probably from the same space. Various leaf-built amenities
“What is this…”
“Safe haven.” The Braixen answered. “She hasn’t found me yet.” He looked around conspiratorially. “I really shouldn’t let you in here, but maybe it’ll keep me safe.”
“Safe?..” Shawn tried to wrap his head around things. He was still slightly reeling from the idea that pokemon could talk to start with. “What do you mean? She threatened to eat me not ten minutes ago…”
The Braixen nodded. “I figured, but she might be all talk, only one creature in these lands actually eats humans.”
Shawn blinked. “What?..”
“Have you noticed that you haven’t seen another trainer since you came here?”
There was a pause. The Braixen was right…
“Yes...but the Arbok said that they had some kind of deal...they don’t all…”
“No...if they did then you’d have been eaten straight off. You’re lucky...she...didn’t find you first, or you might have been. Bliss is trying to prove a point.”
“Bliss?”
“The Milotic, that’s what she calls herself. She wants you to come to her willingly, like the pokemon do, then Saphire won’t have as much grounds to say she infringed on her territory.”
“I’m...very confused…” Shawn slumped into one of the waiting room chairs. “I just want to catch pokemon.”
There was a slight moment of awkwardness as the two glanced at each other in silence for a moment.
“Er....well….not talking ones I mean it’s….that’s kinda..”
“Shut up.”
Shawn nodded. “Shutting up.”
The Braixen nodded. “Good. Anyway, my thought is, that so long as I can keep you from going to her directly, she can’t come and get you more...bodily...And if I’m close to you that means you’re my ticket to staying outside of her.” He nodded to himself figuring this was the perfect plan, though Shawn wasn’t quite as convinced. In general the Braixen seemed just a hair unhinged. His fur was mussed and unkept and the stick jutting from his tail seemed chipped and scraggly. He smiled a bit too wide. “I’ll be safe...y-yes and I can get off this island…”
He walked towards the back of the cave where something was mostly hidden in shadow, with a grunt he dragged it forwards. Shawn stiffened and stood up, looking over the rather well constructed object in shock.
“You have a raft!?”
He nodded. “It took me ages to build.”
“Then why are you even still here?! W-wel could leave right n-”
The fox pokemon was beside him in a moment, holding a finger to his lips. “Shhhh….she can sense the waters, see?...She knows if we try to leave. W-we need to plan, right? Yes, plan.”
Shawn blinked, and backed away to escape the shooshing finger. “Well...alright, what’s the plan?”
“We hold up here, until we figure out plan.” The Braixen nodded, ears twitching manically.
“That doesn’t sound like a good plan…” Shawn frowned. “Why don’t we...I don’t know, wait until she’s got some other pokemon in her coils. She might be too busy to notice we’re trying to escape.” He frowned. “Also, have you got a name? I’m Shawn, and I can’t talk to things that don’t have names, it’s weird.”
The Braixen shrugged. “I’ve been called Scorch from time to time, but that’s about it. Anyway, I THOUGHT about that, but if you don’t reach the other side of the water before she realizes, you’re a goner. Her power increases in the presence of liquid, if you’re surrounded by it you might as well swan dive into her maw before she has you begging to go in via cannon ball.”
“Well we’ll have to move quickly...where are we? Far inland?”
“A ways…” Scorch tilted his head a little oddly. “If I go too close to the water she’ll get me...c-can’t have that…”
“Well, if we want to get out of here we’ll have to be closer. We can move the raft close to the shore… Then we can strike when she’s busy.”
“I-I’m not going near the shore!”
“Well how do you expect to use the raft then?”
  Another pause filled the air.
  “Fine...good plan…”
Shawn nodded. “Alright...now do you know when the next time she might be busy will be?”
“Tomorrow morning, she has breakfast promptly.”
Shawn nodded. “Alright…” He looked out at the mouth of the cave, the sun was setting, and he realized now that he was slightly weary. “We’ll sleep...then in the morning we’ll strike...agreed?”
  Scorch nodded. “Agreed…”
The fire type had made a large mattress out of leaves, it was just large enough for both of them to lay on. The night was fairly warm, and despite the discomfort, Shawn found himself drifting off to bed more quickly than expected…

----
In the dark haze of sleep...a voice rang out.
  “Yes….rest…” it purred…
Shawn shook his head...where was he again? He looked around, greenery surrounded him in a clearing, flowers dotted the green in various intervals.
He sat up and stood, the voice was familiar….he had a feeling he should be concerned, but couldn’t quite put his finger on why.
“Though...it is not as though you can escape me in your dreams either...I am the goddess of calm, and there is nothing more peaceful...more restful...more blisssssssful than sleep…”
The long lisping S’s dragged across his skin like silk sheets. He shivered despite the warmth of the clearing and tried to look around to find where the voice was coming from….Psychic...she must have been using psychic...this was a dream…
“Bliss...that’s your name...Bliss?” He attempted trying to make small talk as he felt around the dreamspace. He’d experimented with lucid dreaming once or twice out of curiosity. He’d only managed it once, but this didn’t feel like that, instead of infinite possibility or dream like nonsense, the world felt orderly and crisp. He couldn’t place his will upon any of his surroundings any more than he could in the real world...in fact, it felt oddly like he could do so less here than when he was waking. There was that silken feeling around him at the edge of his awareness, hemming in his mind like a blanket dulling his senses.
“Why yesssssss, has my little pet project been talking? He will accept me ssssoon too, you know...the only reason he has remained outside of my offered peace, is that I only tend to the poor dear like this...in his dreams...with occasional whispers in the waking world to make sure he stays on his toes...It is so easy to sway those who will not hear reasssson...I like to have an occasional challenge….”
There was a sound to Shawn’s left, like the wind but heavier, a hefty sliding sort of sound of motion through the air...when he turned however, there was nothing there.
  “You’re just...toying with him?”
“Toying is sssssuch a...confrontational word….I prefer to think I am tessssting him, his blisss will be all the sweeter for his time away. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. When he finally givessss in to me, it will be like the softest rest from the weariest world. He may find bliss beyond what any I have taken before can claim if only for his resistance to it. It will make giving in sssssimply beautiful..”
  “And what about me?...”
“What about you indeed?” Shawn felt a silken weight against his back, a giving force that pushed into him like an enormous hand draped across his shoulders. The second he moved, however, the feeling vanished and he was alone still. “I can only use so many trickssss to claim you...my ssssisters and I have certain...rulesss….regulationsssss….they make the zone so much more...entertaining…”
“W-who is this sister of your’s? Don’t tell me you’re afraid of her…” Shawn said, trying to sound braver than he felt. Even though to his vision he was alone, to every other sense, he felt like she was there, around him, even the vague smell of fresh clean, clear water…
“Not...afraid...I would say...ssssensibly cautious...I am the peace pokemon after all...and part of peace...part of blissss...is picking your battles carefully..”
Shawn frowned. “So you’re saying that you can’t beat her by force, so you’re using guile?”
“So brusque and to the point…” The voice huffed. “You ssshould try being a little calmer...particularly here in this space...I can do anything at all to you here…Sssscorch...the poor dear, has stopped sleeping as much, though he can’t remember why…”
There were more sounds of movement...sliding across the grass all around him.
“I’ve done ssssuch things to him...if only he knew, he would welcome me...but I’ll give him a ressspite tonight..because…” In an instant she appeared, the great curve of her neck pressing against his front, her peaceful gaze arced in a gentle S as she looked down at him. Her face, mostly clear of any features besides eyes, somehow still conveyed a slightly mischievous smile “I’ll be too bussssy ssshowing you what I can do…”
Shawn pitched forwards, his arms shooting out to wrap around her neck for balance. Her trunk was so wide that his fingers didn’t touch around the back and his cheek pressed into the scaley girth of her underside. He looked downwards to see why he couldn’t find his footing. Shawn found his feet sinking into a seemingly endless sea of coils. He tried to pull himself out of the cream colored coils slowly rising around his calves, but his only leverage was more of her body and every time he pulled at her trunk to try and free the rest of him, she simply lowered it, her gaze arced in an S curving above him so intimately close he could smell and feel her honied breath ruffling his hair.
The whole of the ground appeared to simply be more of her, creamy, scaled snakeskin collecting and shifting around him, eager to wind itself around him, to show him the true extent of her power. Portions of her form were so thick, that he knew, in an instant, that if she did win, if she did swallow him, by the time he sank inside, felt her internal embrace until he reached that place in her form, no one would even be able to tell he was inside.
With a steady movement of her coils, she lowered him between the lengths of scale, in moments he was up to his hips. His cheeks colored and his body tensed as a thick band of nearly silken snakeskin pressed itself almost amorously against his shaft through his shorts. It drew itself in a gentle pressure up until its twin behind him pressed him into the touch in an endless, steady tightening of muscle. In that moment he knew her plan, she would torture him with pleasure for the entire night, she would show him every trick she knew, and here, in this space, there wasn’t the slightest thing he could do to stop her. This world was her’s, he was her’s, and until morning, he was very certain she was going to make him extremely aware of that fact.
Shawn didn’t want to give her the satisfaction. He didn’t want her to know she was getting to him. The serpentine pokemon gave an impressed coo as his belly was subjected to her scales and he held firm. The rise and ebb of her body undulated against his tummy, pushing his shirt upwards with its carefully placed friction, only earning a gasp, even as his entire waist was utterly buried in her touches.
“You’re a strong one…” She commented idly as, in his attempts to stay quiet, he let his hands fall, loops rising from the pile to fall over his forearms and drag them into the living quicksand that was her endless coils. “I like that…” Shawn struggled, shaking and adjusting his shoulders to try and get some leverage, but found nothing, unable to do so much as hold onto her great neck. He could only watch as she gazed down at him. Her smooth head shifting to the side slightly revealed a smile as the smoothness of those soft gentle touches closed in around his neck, squeezing around his face and leaving him a speck among her form. “It will make it all the better when you do give in.”
At that, the end of her tail, somehow having found him among all of her, poured into his shorts, and wound three, thick, creaming coils around his member, before filling the garment to the brim with snakeskin.
Shawn gave in and moaned, just in time for the sound to be muffled by her body wrapping over his mouth and dragging him into her depths, not to resurface till wakefulness claimed him once more.

  ------

Shawn was awakened by Scorch shaking his shoulders. It took several minutes to rouse him. His memory was fuzzy, but it seemed almost as though sleep seemed reluctant to let him go, every brief snatch of wakefulness snatched back into unconscious dreaming. He felt so tired it was almost as if he hadn’t gotten any sleep as well, even when the fox pokemon managed to get him upright. His mind kep wandering, drifting into a haze of pale beige scales and endless shifting muscle…
  “Shawn?”
Shawn flinched without knowing why to find the Braixen tilting his head quizzically. He seemed more alert and less frazzled than he had upon their meeting, his fur was smoother, shinier, his eyes a little brighter.
  “W-whazat?” Shawn mumbled.
“You look terrible…” He considered. “But I think we can do it. Bliss wasn’t in my dreams last night. She’s in my dreams every night. She’s off her game! We should strike while the iron is hot, get the raft and try to get to shore before she notices me. She must have found some other toy.”
“Yeah...right...toy…” Shawn mumbled, feeling his ears burn a bit at that sentence for some reason. “Raft...right…” Shawn shook the drowsiness from his head as much as he could, and followed his strange companion to the raft.
Scorch instructed him to grab one side of the raft. On the fox’s signal, they would both run forwards as quickly as possible before reaching the river and placing the raft inside. After that, Shawn would keep lookout while the fox pokemon used his fire abilities to jet them to the shore.
Things were oddly quiet as they left the cave at a brisk semi-run. Shawn had a hard time keeping up. He’d thought, after a bad night’s sleep, that his legs would be sore, but the opposite was true. They felt...overly relaxed, as though he’d been sitting in a hot tub, or visited a spa for an extended period of time. They almost felt like they might melt with every step, as if the muscles weren’t quite used to supporting themselves.
The fox actively had to slow down to make sure they kept going in a straight line as opposed to listing to Shawn’s side every few steps. This earned him quite a few glares, and one nearly sprained ankle as they advanced, but as of yet they had not encountered the massive serpent. Despite his sleepiness, Shawn was on edge the whole way, just waiting on her to pop around a ridge of trees, or a massive boulder, but they saw no such thing.
The sound of the ocean lapping the shore hit their ears without them being accosted by anything. The water came into sight, and the Braixen leapt aboard as Shawn used their momentum to continue the rest of the way into the sea.
The raft hit the sea with a splash, and Shawn felt a flash of exhilaration despite his sleepiness. They had made it.
Shawn jumped aboard the raft as it bobbed, the fire type situating himself dead center to avoid the water.
  “We did it!”
Scorch shook his head. “We haven’t done it yet until we’re properly on the other side of the water, and, then we avoid the Arbok.
Shawn nodded. “Right...but I mean…” He fended off a yawn. “This is farther than I thought we’d get, I didn’t think we’d get very much father than the exit of the cave.”
“True…” Blaze frowned. “I didn’t expect it to be quite this easy…”
As that last word left his mouth, his eyes suddenly went a bit cloudy and he stumbled slightly. He reached out a hand to steady himself.
  “Blaze...are you alright?” Shawn asked.
“Yeah...yeah...It’s just...when I said easy just th-” He paused, again, his expression went vague, and he reached down to the side of the raft, where they had secured a homemade oar. He wrenched it free with near robotic ease, and before Shawn could stop him, the oar was in the the water and he was paddling his way back to the island.
  “Blaze!”
The fox didn’t answer. Shawn stood and tried to walk over, but the Braixen simply pulled his branch from his tail and with a flick of his wrist sent a gout of flame to the deck of the raft just at Shawn’s feet. He leapt back at the sudden heat, stumbling and nearly falling into the sea. He managed to shift his weight and fall to his rump. He thought about trying again, but this was a stark reminder that Blaze was, in fact, a Pokemon, and could probably turn Shawn into a BBQ with very little trouble, despite his ability to talk.
Shawn had no choice but to watch as he was paddled right back onto that island he had been trying to escape for very nearly the last forty eight hours straight.
The raft, after barely ten minutes on the water, ran aground on the shore of the beach, and Blaze stepped off into the sand and walked towards the treeline.
Bliss slithered out. Or, more accurately, she seemed to pour out. The motions of her muscles pushing her forwards so natural and effortless she almost seemed to float, pale, creamy scales shifting across the sand to arc above the fire type below her.
“Hello….enjoy the trigger word?” Her voice boomed in Shawn’s mind as she spoke to the blankly staring Braixen. “Did you think all those sleepless nights were only for fun?..No, I always have a purpose in mind...always a plan…” She curled around him in a slow flowing loop, a massive cushion of scales bracing against his back as she curled around to look deeply into his eyes. “You were never free of my control, but I enjoy letting you think so every now and again..though I fear you’ve lost your luster as a toy...you’re tired now…” The loop of her neck began to close around him, plush scales encroaching in on his shoulders, leaving him with little room to move. His eyelids fluttered and he seemed to regain some lucidity.
“W-what...what’s happening...I-I…” He looked up and despite the white fur of his cheeks, he seemed to pale. “N-no! N-no the raft...we were…”
“Wasting your time…” Bliss purred into his head. “But it’s okay...it was an entertaining attempt…” Her neck curled a bit tighter, pinning the confused fox’s arms to his sides with a thick press of her body. “You’ve served me well, kept me from being bored, even perhaps gotten closer to escaping my embrace than most...But now…” She cinched her neck around him, lifting him bodily from the ground. Her lower body curled itself in loving loops around his own, her thick trunk vanishing all but his shoulders from sight, and as her muscles expanded to squeeze him closer. That too was consumed under cream colored scale, leaving his head twitching uselessly above turn after turn of serpentine body thicker than the whole of himself.
Shawn watched, still sitting on the grounded raft as she tightened, muscles bulging under that soft looking scale. It earned a little grunt from the Braixen, leaving him breathless in her coils as they turned slightly with the pressure applied, spinning around him, embracing him more tightly as she peered down, her gaze cool and calm as she held him aloft as though he weighed less than nothing.
“I think it’s time that you accepted me...accepted Bliss...and time that I accepted you...within myself.”
Her normally featureless lower face shifted slightly, starting with a small glimpse of pink at its center that expanded to reveal her mouth. A gentle opening of serpentine maw, a long, thick forked tongue slithering from within to lather against Blaze’s chin, leaving his fur spiked and wet with saliva. It combed through the tender area around his neck as he struggled to try and get away from it, though that same white fur showed his blush clearly.
“N-no! St-” He was cut off as her tongue continued gently probing him, flowing up his cheeks before slotting neatly in his mouth.
Shawn heard his muffled protestations from below, he squirmed, but her coils only tightened. They pushed against his cheeks, holding his head still as his cheeks bulged with that thick writhing muscle, exploring his mouth, showing her gentle dominance. It just seemed to keep pouring into him, inch after inch of thick flowing tongue. Shawn couldn’t see his throat from his vantage point, but he could only imagine how much of her the fox was taking on.
The twisted kiss went on for several moments, the Fox’s minute struggles ebbing as his ability to breathe was impeded by her coils and searching tongue.
Blaze’s eyelids fluttered and Shawn thought he might pass out, before that tongue retracted with a slick noise, flowing back between her lips and leaving the fire type gasping for breath in her grip.
“Come here now, dear one…” Her voice twanged across their minds like music and she opened her maw wider, slowly taking the fox pokemon’s head into her mouth. She closed her lips around his shoulders. Her lips advanced downwards in slow, audible swallows, her coils softly loosening to feed him to her. He could see Blaze’s squirming arms as they were freed from one embrace and taken into another, more intimate one. The outline of his squirming upper body became clear along the graceful swoop of her neck as her long ribbon like ears flowed and curled in pleasure at his taste, an occasional flash of that tongue snaking from between her lips to lick at his tender belly or curl along wriggling fingers before they vanished, leaving little besides his tail and feet thrashing outside of her.
Bliss’s throat rippled visibly, and he was slurped inwards like a strand of living spaghetti, the stick he kept in his tail falling free and landing in the sand with a soft thud as his squirming toes vanished past her lips and he was taken fully within her. Another slow undulation of contracting throat muscles and the bulge within her neck began its descent deeper into her body, visibly struggling with each slow motion of her immense body around his smaller one as she pressed him deeper.
Her eyes turned to Shawn still atop the raft, staring in disbelief. They were alone now, and she gave him a slow nod. “You will be next...do not fight this...it is as inevitable a-”
She was interrupted by a sound like a whip cracking. Shawn threw himself to the deck of the raft on impulse, only to whirl around and see a length of green vine wrapped around the ‘Mast’ of the raft, two just like it wrapped around bits of branch poking out of its sides.
Bliss’s eyes widened, and in the span of a heartbeat, right before a sickening lurch of motion stole him away, he heard her cry out ‘No!’ in his mind. Then the raft was pulled from her shore faster than a speed boat, skipping along the surface of the sea like a stone as Shawn clung on for dear life.

  -------

The ride across the water was a blue of motion, the whipping blue of the water, the green of the trees and again the blue of the sky going by at mach speed. Shawn had never traveled this fast in his life, let alone by water. He screamed and clung to the raft as it began to break apart from the speed. It reached the shoreline in short order, though as less of a raft, and more as one log with a screaming human clinging to it as it stuck fast into the sand and sent him flying into a nearby tree, the long frond-like leaves slowing his fall thankfully.
It took Shawn several moments to process what had just happened. He lay there, upside down, arms akimbo in a palm tree, having just narrowly been spared being eaten by a talking Milotic, mere moments after she had devoured a still wriggling, talking Braixen. It was almost too much to comprehend, not even counting the stuff that had happened the day before.
Then there was the question of what had saved him. He looked down from his odd perch, the world upside down as far as his perspective, just in time to see two thick green vines uncurl from the log that had once been his raft, and retract into the jungle.
“...Maybe that means nice things?” He murmured to himself, not really believing this would be the case.
After his heart stopped hammering in his chest, Shawn began the descent from the tree. Newton’s law had propelled him quite a way’s upwards, but the palm-shape of the tree provided lots of foot and handholds, so after the hard part of getting himself rightside up without plummeting to his death or grave injury, it wasn’t terribly hard to get back down to the sand of the beach.
He could see the island off in the distance. It hadn’t been that far away from the shore he’d seen previously….that meant he was probably on the other side...farther away from the safari zone exit than he’d been since entering it...But maybe there was a secondary exit.
The little hopeful voice that supplied this hope was quickly silenced by all the other, more reasonable ones in Shawn’s head. Unsure what to do with himself, he stood there for several moments, before deciding, if the land around the island was a circle of some sort, like he suspected, then walking along the shore would lead back to more familiar territory.
He shook himself a bit, and started off, grabbing a palm frond to keep the sun from beating down on the back of his neck as he walked along the beach.
Shawn was quite surprised when nothing of particular note happened for the first long while of walking. The beach was fairly unremarkable, and the sound of the waves had a calming sensation almost. This had to be the most serene, normal kind of thing that had happened to him in what seemed like an age, but what really only amounted to about two days and change. It was almost unsettling.
Eventually his legs gave out, and he had to rest. He found the trunk of a particularly large palm, breathing heavily to try and regain his strength.
  “I just wanted….to catch...Pokemon…” He moaned.
This bit of self pity was broken as something brushed against his hand. Shawn pulled back with a start, whipping around to look at what had touched him.
A length of green rested around the tree, waving sinuously back and forth. It was about as thick around at its end as Shawn’s fists if he pressed them together, maybe a bit wider.
Shawn, more than tired of surprises, jumped to his feet and stepped back until he hit another palm tree. With a bit of distance he could see that behind the tree he had been leaning against, was a thicket of trees and tropical vines so thick and tall he couldn’t see what lay beyond them.
“No...nononono...I know how this goes...I have no plans on getting tangled up in any more shenanigans…”
“Ooohh…” Said a voice that sent the sand shifting with it’s low feminine rumble. “Well that’s a sssshame…” Shawn’s blood ran cold for a moment as he felt eyes on him from somewhere within the enormous thicket. “Because tangling…” With a whoosh of sound, a vine thicker than Shawn’s arm shot out and wrapped around his torso, he was hefted bodily into the air and pulled past the wall of trees in a rush of green until he came to a stop in front of a pair of very large, very red eyes. Serpentine irises narrowed in the centers of these, on a head almost larger than Shawn’s entire body. “Is my…” A low chuckle shook the trees and sent birds flying. “Sssspecialty…”
Shawn shuddered as his brain tried to catch up to current events. He was being held before the enormous, shifting form of the largest Serperior he had ever seen, in fact, the largest Pokemon he had ever seen.
She, and he was fairly certain of this by her tone and demeanor, was thick enough to lose himself utterly in less than two full turns of her neck. She sprawled out between the palms, coils curling and looping around trunks, smaller bits of foliage utterly overwhelmed by the overabundance of serpentine flesh spiraling about. The girth of her body moved like a river, curling in on itself, over itself, bending and squishing and twirling around what was probably the whole of the strange perimeter of trees, a perimeter Shawn was fairly certain he had walked alongside for more than an hour…
  “I-I…”
“Hmmm? What’sss that?” Her tongue tasted his face as she spoke, the enormous grass type leaning in closer as though to better hear him. “I can’t quite make out what you’re trying to sssaay...Serperior got your tongue.”
The vine around his torso originated from the ornate collar like hood just below her head, it held him just above a churning ocean of coils. She casually spun him a bit, looking him over, this way and that.
“You are a cute little thing...but since the others have had their fun, I think it’s time I had my turn…” Shawn jumped as the end of the vine around his torso slipped between the buttons on his shirt. He reached down to try and halt this progress, but it was like trying to stop the flow of a stream of tar. Whenever he pushed at it, it just seemed to ooze around his hands through his shirt as she eyed him with a predatory sort of interest. “I am Epitome.” She smirked. “I am the reason the Zone exists...and you...are mine now...that is as complicated as this is going to get, and as simple.” While she’d spoken, the cool touch of her vine slithered a third coil around his torso, so thick the buttons of his shirt were threatening to burst. The bulbous tip pushed its way out of his neck hole to lather briefly against his tender throat, before the enormous appendage gave a powerful flex outwards.
Shawn gasped as his shirt fell to tatters, bits of fabric quickly swallowed up by the hungry coils below. He was held there, struggling in her most idle of grips above her seemingly endless body as she arced above him. “I have not gotten this large by letting those who have caught my eye escape...so I will make this perfectly clear…” A second vine slowly slithered out from her collar and wound itself intimately around Shawn’s upper thigh without so much as a pause, lathering itself against the tender skin it found there, threading its way up through the leg hole of his underwear and teasing against his cock. All of Shawn’s protests turned to moans at the sudden touch.
He looked down to see his pants wriggling with the intrusion, before the blunt tip wormed its way up from under his waistband and undulated over his bare stomach, before a similar flex left him utterly naked.
“You will not be escaping...there is no changing this. You are mine now, to hold, caress, squeeze, flex and exercise my coils and eventually…” She paused and ran that thick forked tongue over her lips. “Devour…” Her vines casually molested the small human, as she pressed this point home. “You can hardly fight against the smallest parts of me...let us see how you fare against the larger…”
Epitome’s vines loosened, and Shawn slowly slipped from their grip until he fell, for a moment, tumbling through open space, before landing on a coil thick enough for him to use as a bed with a small thump. The length of her body below him was giving, pliant. She was right about one thing, she had eaten well in her time in the zone. Shawn tried to stay atop this large coil, thinner ones sprawled around it, constantly moving, almost needy in the way they arced and curled against the ground. He saw a pine caught in three enormous bounds of Serperior, and with a light flex, the trunk cracked like a pencil.
This renewed his urgency to stay out of her grip, but it was as useless as his earlier raft had been, at least that one didn’t actively fight him. He felt her muscles tensing deep under that soft layer beneath her scales, moving her forwards, arcing up and down. He tried to grab onto something to keep his balance, but she was smooth and slightly cool to the touch, there was nothing to grab onto to escape her that wasn’t her.
The coil pitched upwards and Shawn yelped as he was thrown, landing in that rolling ocean of green. The heavy press of scales flowed over his legs, and Shawn’s eyes widened as the massive coil he had been situated on just moments ago arced up like a, archway above him, blocking out the sun for a moment as it shifted above him.
“I could quite possibly hold you without even applying myself except in the most gravitational of senses…” The coil dropped and Shawn was winded by the fleshy ‘Twap!’ of it landing across everything below his shoulders, one hand spared from being pinned by it's enormous girth, pressing him down against the coils at his back, forcing him to feel every scale against his bare skin. On impulse, he tried to use his free hand to push the enormous coil away as it oozed its way over his front, but his hand simply sank into the soft scaled thickness in front of him, his struggles absorbed instantly as it slowly flowed over his front. The motion of her softer underbelly slipping over his bare member made him squirm and thrash, but just as useless as his arm had been, all of his struggles were absorbed by cool scaley girth.
“I can feel your excitement. Your body responding to something so much greater than itself.” She said, the coil shifting across his entire lower body growing larger as it moved, dragging more of its thickness to bear against him. The sheer weight of it made it hard to breathe as he squirmed against the intoxicatingly smooth friction of that ever present grind of muscular motion over his helpless form.
His pushing hands slipped and were pinned as the pressure increased. The coils at his back pushed him up against the one dragging itself over his body, sandwiching his whole body between enormous turns of her. Epitome watched, amused, from the side, graceful neck arched into a feminine S, her shapely, regal visage looking down upon this lesser toy for her coils, this plaything for her scales.
These scales, so infinitely soft, smooth and silken stroked across him, pale white under belly undulating over his trapped maleness. He fet his toes try to curl within their confines to no avail.
His shoulders wriggled, the only part of his body still free from her grip. The rising tide of those girthy scales arose to greet his chin like the inexorable pull of quicksand on an unwary traveler.
“It has been great fun to watch you struggle against the others of the zone. Oh how you squirmed, oh how you fought. I have eyes all over this island you know. Bliss makes the mistake of eating all of her worshippers once they have barely begun to do any work. I keep a few around so that only the most special of prizes can be mine…”
The coils flexed around Shawn and he gave a grunt as breathing became next to impossible. He could only get the vaguest whiff of air before the invasive, squeezing flesh around him halted the expanse of his lungs, a wall that was impossible to pass.
“The others are fine feeding on pokemon, but any human that enters this place is mine by rights...if I have had my fill, I allow them the scraps every now and again...but the sweetest meals of all are mine to embrace within myself. Did you know you’re the third one today?” She chuckled. “You were walking for such a long time, most wander into the jungle far before that…” She looked down at her massive body. “I can still feel them you know. They are still squirming inside my body, but to illustrate just how impossible it would be to try and put your will against mine, note that you cannot so much as see a single bulge. They are hidden away, deep within the warmest hug they shall ever received, and as we speak now, my body constricts and enfolds itself around them ever more tightly, there is no inch that is untasted, unloved, uncaressed. I am large, they will be traveling for some time, the beat of my heart and the ministrations of my body lulling them until such point they drift off and make me all that much larger…”
Shawn found his chin forced upwards by the encroaching advance of her scales. He tried to grunt, but he was feeling light headed as the coils underneath him forced him a little tighter against those above. He was little more than a speck of pale flesh among the shifting green serpentine body around him, slowly pouring over his entire body, claiming more by the second as he began to see spots.
“Will you keep them company when you go? For all you know right now you could be very close to them already, both of you encased by my form in different ways…” She chuckled darkly, her body vibrating with the sound as the leaves on the trees around them vibrated with the sound.
The soft green scales drifting along the underside of his chin began to spill along the underside of his jaw the underbelly rising to cup his cheeks. He was held, framed on either side, upside down and staring at the serpentine visage above him, the green of the palm trees swaying and the green of her scales covering the ground like a sea all their own. He gasped for breath as they squeezed inwards, his cheeks pressed up and forwards as he was compressed inside her grasp.
The scales loosened, only somewhat, and allowed him a small breath, enough to keep him conscious. Her chuckle turned into an interested hiss as she threatened to vanish him totally inside of her scales.
“Though you’re about to be quite a bit closer…” A vine slipped from her living collar, elegant and smooth and thicker than his wrist, it caressed his cheek with its pliant form, an almost loving touch juxtaposed against his own crushing weakness in the face of her body. “There is no escape from this, no magical happenstance, no wayward hero, no other serpent higher than me on the food chain to save you.” She leaned in closer, letting her vine gently swirl around what little of him was showing. “This is the end of the line, but what a lovely end it is….” She slithered out of sight, and he felt her coils shift as the vine left his skin tingling. Her coils moved and he could feel breath on his feet as they were exposed, and the slight tickle of a forked tongue that sent him squirming in so far as he could move at all.
“The epitome of sensuality...enjoy your time within me, little Morsel. It will be a long journey, but know that you will not be alone long...Feel honored and accept this honor as you ssssslip away…”
The slight, almost tickly touch of that tongue turned into a more lathering lick at this final word. Shawn felt the warmth and humidity of her breath as his feet were encased within the fleshy warmth of her maw. He couldn’t help but moan, as much as her scales would allow him to. His toes slid onto the pillow of her tongue as he shuddered, sliding ever backwards, her coils retracing their steps, the girth pinning him getting thinner as her maw rose to take up what it had once buried. Her maw was so incredibly large, that as her lips undulated up along his body, inch by slow inch, like she was making her way down the flavorful length of a popsicle. It wasn’t until she had already taken most of his thighs into that warm chamber that his toes touched her throat.
It clenched around his feet as she advanced forwards, the very end of her tail the only thing holding him now in two secure loops, clenched to hold him steady as she enjoyed her meal. His face and a bit of his hair poked out from the green and white scales that held him as the rest of his body vanished into her enormous throat. He felt the slow smooth contraction of the tunnel around them and in an instant he was tugged a foot backwards into the tight passage within, pillowy, wet flesh caressing his legs, their attempts to wiggle making such an imperceptible impression on the outside of her throat. Another slow sensual tug pulled him in up to his pectorals, her serpentine tongue rose to wrap around his neck as her coils fell away completely, his shoulders poking out of her maw as that pink length of musculature wound intimately around his neck, the tip coming around again to lap at his cheek, its thickness enough to where the two loops had to compress against one another to fit and taste him properly.
Though her mouth was full, she expressed her approval with a low coo that vibrated down to Shawn’s very soul, before her lips opened wide and her tongue pulled him in. She kept her mouth open and turned it skywards, letting him look up a the swaying branches and the blue sky above as she swallowed again, taking him up to his shoulders. She let gravity do the work now, taking him in inch by inch, that clenching tunnel oozing up over his shoulders, touching every nook and cranny of his body, the undulations stroking his member over and over again. He couldn't take it, it had all been too much, since the moment he’d arrived, and now as her interior walls pressed against him in such a predatorial intrusive way, an intimately intrusive way, he gave a moan. His body tensed within her throat as a small contraction rippled through its length, and she knew, from the motion of his body that he had spilled his seed within her.
Her throat tightened around all sides of his face, the fleshy wetness creating a smooth, complete hold around his features, the clenching pink framed that final vision of the sky interspersed between the green palms. Shawn’s thoughts were hazy from the sheer amount of overstimulation he felt now.
As her body rose to claim this final bit of him, he had a thought. Right now, someone else was about to walk into the lobby of the Safari zone and pay the strange woman at the counter her fee...and then Epitome would make good on her promise...and she would get a little larger...he wondered if he’d have reached her stomach by then. There was no telling how long it would take, how long he’d been within this tight, clenching passage, subject to the tender ministrations of her body...though he supposed that didn’t matter anymore.
He gave a final moan that was cut off, muffled as her throat closed around him in an audible swallow.
Epitome closed her mouth and sealed him in. He sank beyond sight, and of him there was no sign. She smiled to herself and laid among her own form like a queen among the finest pillows, her coils soft and rising to meet her as she sunned.
“Welcome to this, Shawn, your new life as a part of me...The Epitome of beauty…” She closed her eyes, and with a slow hiss, napped in the sunlight.

Great read, a little long though. You could split this into 3 parts. However I greatly enjoyed it, especially the milotic part. Well done. :)
