This is Soline, a character I've been working on for a few months. She is a goddess who created a world and populated it with people who she made from fragments of her own divine essence, pieces of her "spirit" or "soul" that she divided from herself, clothed in flesh, and sent to live in the world.

When one of her creations is near death, she "spirits away" their soul to her domain, a realm with its own timeline apart from the physical world, where souls can take a tangible shape. Here, she explains to them the nature of their existence and asks them to return to being a part of her.
