During a sunny morning beneath the placid surface of a lake at the Nexus…

'Mewh, I'm not going to get used to all this easy swimming and three-dimensional movement anytime soon!'

'But at least you're not getting used to walking on two legs instead of four, here you can just stop moving when confused and not fall over – also I don't have to fear sneaky cats jumping on me from above since we've on equal footing!'

Leafshark's final quip prompts Felishark to pause and slam her hands onto her hips to grump at the deer-shark who floats lazily behind and below her, the latter sticking her tongue out impishly before swiftly flipping around to start gliding away when the former attempts to kick herself towards her.

'See what I mean? No cat-sharks catching meee!'

'Yeah, yeah… I wish I could find all this more useful somehow…' Feligris mutters once she stops her brief attack, stretching out to spin in the water with her tailfin flicking as she rubs her chin contemplatively.

'Well, if you didn't already notice, we're swimming – so it should be much easier to move with a really full belly. Not that that ever stopped you from stuffing yourself, cat -' Leafshark replies cheekily, her long tail lashing already before she finishes to shift herself out of the way when Felishark lunges at her again, the cat-shark's long fangs snapping at water in frustration after she comes to a stop again.

'Your point being…?'

'I know a beach where elves come to swim, we should go there to snatch a couple – let the biggest belly win!'

'Oh, I see – I'm on it! Maybe you'll be too clumsy to dodge me after that…'

With a toothy grin, Felishark propels herself after Leafshark who has already swung around to let her rhythmically swiping tail accelerate her through the clear waters towards the aforementioned beach.

Later, after many elves have disappeared into hungry shark bellies below the waves -

'… I don't know if I can move any better than above water, uuugh… not so sure if this was a good idea!' Felishark groans as she writhes on her back on the stony lake bed, having sunk like a rock after the third or fourth elf – all of who are making her enormously swollen belly misshapen due to their struggling within.

'Hey, you -hic- went along willingly and even encouraged me to snatch more of them! Which I regret now...' Leafshark retorts while balancing atop two jagged rocks which jut from the lake bed, her smoother yet equally distended belly letting out muffled churning noises as it furiously works on its contents.

'I wish I hadn't! Grrr, all these elves will be going straight into my hips or ass once they stop kicking and start digesting -'

'But you still have it good – see, my boobs are already brimming with milk, must be side effect from all the people I've been stuffing into them earlier. Ugh… these won't go away in ages!'

'Good, perhaps they'll remind you the next time you have great ideas like this…!'

After Feligris' snappy retort both sharks fall into surly silence, glaring at each other every now and then as they roll about in the water with their uncomfortably filled bellies and other issues stemming from their gorging, possibly already plotting against each other… ?
