A lone grey wolf named Keda looked around with wonder within the open area of what appeared to be an ancient temple deep in the heart of a jungle at the base of a mountain. Moss covered the intricately carved stone, light shone down through various holes and skylights in the ceiling above, making it easier to see in the depths of the dimly lit room that was easily the size of a cathedral. With caution, he made his way in deeper, the air very still and muggy, getting a closer look at some of the various carvings that seemed to spiral up along fallen columns.

He couldn’t make out much detail on the columns aside from the general shape of the spirals, and carefully peeled off some of the moss to get a better look. The moss came off easily and revealed what appeared to be a carved scale pattern on the stone, brushing gently over the texture with a pair of fingers. After a moment of admiring the intricacy of the column, Keda got up and looked around again where he stood, unable to shake off the feeling that he was being watched, eyes scanning along the dark patches of shadow that weren’t adequately lit by the light from the few skylights in the ceiling. Despite this, he made his way over to one of the walls to inspect it for any sort of glyphic carvings, not seeing a lot that he could make sense with from the small patches of moss he peeled away.

Before he could gain any more insight to the carvings, a low, soft hissing sound sent a chill down his spine, heart rate increasing as he nervously looked around in the dim room for the source of the hiss, it seeming that his hunch of feeling watched wasn’t just paranoia. Unable to see anyone or anything else in there with him, he took a few steps away from the wall into a beam of sunlight, feeling a little safer there. The solace was quickly extinguished when he heard another more distinct hiss that sounded louder, the sound difficult to determine the direction of in the large temple ruins.

“Well well well…” a smooth feminine voice spoke, causing the wolf to look around again. “Seems an outsider has trespassed into the realm of my temple.” Keda kept looking around frantically, still unable to determine a general direction of the voice.

“Who’s there?” the lupine asked into the darkness while still scanning the shadows, a subtle rasping sound catching his attention. “I didn’t know this place belonged to someone, I was just exploring is all.” More sounds of rasping seemed to come from various places off to his left, looking and scrutinizing the area in the shadows and seeing the outline of something that looked like the tail of a giant snake. Though before he had time to react to that, a shadow blocked some of the sunlight he was standing in, the wolf looking up and yelping a bit when he saw the head of the largest serpent he had ever seen looming over him, causing him to jump a few feet back.

“Is that so?” the voice spoke again, the snake being the one speaking with a hiss in her tone, a pair of piercing golden yellow eyes regarding the wolf. “You didn’t think that even here deep in the jungle someone would have a home as big and grand as this?” the serpent’s head pulled back slowly into the shadows, her eyes still seen.

“Who..who are you?” Keda asked with a nervous gulp, eyes not leaving her own so he didn’t lose track of her, unaware of the end of her massive tail that silently slithered up behind him. Her head lowered some and slipped once more into the sunlight, granting him a better view of her face, smooth green scales adorned her face with spots of orange next to her eyes, her eyelids seemed to be a darker shade of green that acted similar to eyeshadow.

“Inkanyamba,” she answered with a somewhat predatory grin that made the wolf’s heart nearly skip.

“Th-the largest anaconda in the world and queen of the jungle?” Keda gasped with a nervous gulp while taking a step back, only to yelp again when her tail quickly lunged and snared him in its grip while looping around him, causing his world to spin a bit when he was lifted off the ground and wrapped up in a few coils, holding him firmly but not yet constricting him. He tried to speak again, but the end of her tail wrapped a loop around his neck and gave just enough of a squeeze to keep him from speaking. He struggled in vain against the power and weight of her tail that held him in place with little effort.

“Hoh, is that what they call me in the lands beyond the jungle?” Inkanyamba asked with hints of amusement in her voice, chuckling softly and bringing her head slowly around the captured lupine, gradually coiling him some more in seemingly endless coils of her large and powerful body, burying him up to his neck. “I must say it is quite flattering to be that well known out there despite how much time I spend here in my temple. Usually it’s just those who live here in the jungle that know of me, bringing me offerings and…sacrifices.” She smirked to the wolf when she felt him shiver and struggle a bit more in her coils when she said that last word, his reaction and quickening heartbeat betraying his fear. With a soft tut, she gave a subtle squeeze that tightened her coils around him some, making the wolf gasp again as they pressed in and compressed his body, the sound like bundles of rope twisting together. “Now now, there’s no need to worry my little morsel, just relax, you’re in my coils, where nothing can get you, just yourself and me.” She said with that predatory grin once again on her visage.

“Nnngh, I…” Keda started to say while struggling again in the tight grip of her body all wrapped around him, instinct driving him to try to get free. Though she promptly cut him off by bringing her mouth to his face, lips parting a bit to where the upper one rested just above his brow, and the bottom one pressed to his chin, her thick black tongue pressing against his lips and smearing her saliva over them. The anaconda then loosened her grip a bit on his body, giving him room to breathe, to which he gasped for air just as she planned for and quickly acted. Her tongue pressed into his open muzzle and forced its way down his throat, making it difficult for him to take in any air while she flicked it around in his throat, making a few bulges in his neck all the while. She couldn’t help but chuckle when he thrashed uselessly in her coils and gagged around the powerful muscle that she playfully plunged a few inches deeper before slowly pulling it back into her mouth, leaving him sputtering and coughing with gasps for air again while slowly giving another squeeze of her coils around him, stifling his struggling form some more.

“Don’t speak, little one,” Inkanyamba spoke in a seductively soothing tone while she kept slowly and gradually constricting her body around him, smooth scales rubbing over one another and powerful muscles sounding again like twisting bundles of rope. “You will soon understand the appeal of letting go… of giving in to me… of being in your proper place~” She hissed softly into his ear, his struggles soon fully subdued under the might of her coils, his wriggling tapering off to stillness and wheezing despite his heart thumping hard in his chest. She then shifted the dazed wolf and repositioned him so that his feet were facing her, to which she opened her maw and uncoiled his shins to engulf his feet and ankles into the squishy wetness of her hungry maw. She gave a light hiss of pleasure at the taste and moved her head forward to take in his shins up to the knees, sliding his feet into the slick depths of her throat. Meanwhile, Keda was too dazed from the constriction and lack of air to properly react to what was happening to him, only feeling the tightness of her coils and a wet warmth making its way up his body while he wheezed and panted for the little air he could get. “Mmmmmmm~” the serpent said while she swallowed him up to his waist, more coils coming away from his body to expose more of him to her maw.

The end of Inkanyamba’s tail came away from his neck and slithered down to his side where it took hold of his forearm and pulled it out of the way of her maw, the hungry anaconda seeming to have something in mind for it while his chest slipped into her maw next. The wolf gasped and coughed a bit as he could finally get a proper intake of air, though he was more than halfway down her gullet at this point, her lips pressing firmly around his neck and arm and massaging them gently. Her tongue then slithered out and hooked around his head before pulling it into her muzzle, leaving his arm the only thing sticking out from her lips now. All that could be seen of Keda aside from that was a fairly detailed bulge in her neck that slowly made its way down while the arm slowly slipped in as well, though the end of her tail shifted and wrapped around his wrist and hand, getting a firm grip on it.

When he was just about to be fully engulfed and his hand was slipping in between her lips, she slowly began to pull on his arm, bringing that bulge sliding back up her neck against the tide of her esophagus swallowing around the wolf. His arm came back into view along with his head, shoulders and chest, fur and hair saturated in her slick saliva, the hapless lupine gasping for air once again and sputtering with the saliva on his face. Before he could even consider the idea she might be sparing him, her maw opened up wide while her inner muscles contracted to start tugging him back down into her throat, causing him to wriggle and struggle without adequate use of his arms. Each ripple of her powerful throat pulled him in deeper and deeper, an almost intoxicated look in Inkanyamba’s eyes as she toyed with her delicious prey. His head soon slipped out of sight into the depths of her gullet, arm the only thing sticking out with strings of saliva getting on it as well as his hand. His hand was soon the only part of him sticking out of her gullet within her gaping maw when she started pulling once again to tug him up her throat.

When his head came free again, the slickness of her saliva caused the grip of her tail to slip from his hand and wrist, though he might have also felt her grip loosen a bit just before that happened. His arm slumped down along the inside of her lower jaw with the hand reaching her bottom lip. Keda gave one last effort to free himself and grasped at it as best he could while his head once more retreated down into the recesses of her throat, unable to hold on against the pull of her swallowing, arm slowly disappearing from view before Inkanyamba closed her maw and rubbed part of her tail against the stirring bulge the wolf made in her neck. She sighed with delight and felt at that bulge some more while it sank down lower and lower along her neck, sending her treat on its way to her stomach.

“Ahhh, such an exquisite taste~” the serpent hissed out while she looked down and saw his bulge traveling down further along her belly before coming to rest where her stomach was. “Time for me to rest, my morsel… I should be ready if more like you come along~” With that, she retreated back into the darkness of the shadows to bundle up and rest for the time being.
