This is one of the best stories I've read on this site, slightly suspect biology notwithstanding. I'm looking forward to the second half of the series (and kinda hoping it goes beyond!.

I haven't had a biology lesson for about the same amount of time, but it seems logical that the womb doesn't connect to the digestive tract (don't want to go around digesting babies, right?).
