Ever since the most distant peal of thunder rang in the distance, you knew something would go wrong today. Rain was in the cards, but what wasn't in the cards was a safe way for you to get back home. You were an inquisitive, wandering spirit, but more importantly, you were far from home. Even as droplets started falling on your head and blurring your vision, you tried to tell yourself that it was just a little bit of a sprinkle, that you would be able to make it home just fine.

The world had other plans.

Although the cover of the forest and trees protected you from the worst of the storm’s onslaught, there was no such protection in the wide open fields that lay between the forest and home. With the cover of dark clouds, you had barely noticed that it was starting to become quite late, as well. The constant droning of raindrops hitting the leaves above you numbed your senses, making it more difficult to tell where you were and where you were going. But if you were already soaking wet under the canopy of trees, there would be no hope for you on the plains. You would have to wait the storm out.

It seemed like it would pass a few times. But as the sun continued to fall behind those ominous clouds, it became apparent that it wasn't quitting anytime soon. You had been on the move this whole time; the forest was presently crawling with all manner of dangerous creatures, none more powerful than the infamous dragons inhabiting the caves you had seen dotted throughout the landscape. You couldn't just stay in one place. You had to constantly be moving, lest you be the victim of a roving coyote, or even worse, a grizzly bear...

Eventually, fatigue set in. Rain continued to fall, thunder continued to boom in your ears, and you were running out of options. There was really no safe place in the forest to stay for the night, at least not without some sort of equipment. Your mind was drawn to the caves. A possibility you have completely ruled out at first: it was just too risky. But you were close to the mouth of one, and as the rain slammed against your face like tiny knives, they were looking more attractive by the second. Or maybe you were becoming more desperate. Or perhaps both. Regardless of what led you to these circumstances, it seemed like the cave was the only option.

You moved towards it as slowly as you possibly could, out of some vain attempt to not awaken whatever beast would lie within, but once you were within a few feet of the entrance, you couldn't handle being drenched and shivering anymore. You booked your way underneath that cave, letting out a huge, wonderful sigh of relief as the onslaught of the storm finally broke on the unflinching stone around you.

And then you saw the dragon.

Or rather, it saw you. The only thing that tipped you off was a blast of air from your left, from the darkness of the cave, nearly knocking you over. Even though you were disoriented as soon as you hit the ground, you knew where that air came from. You had picked the wrong cave.
Part of you wanted to try and run away, back out into the cold and wet forest, but the dominant part of you just accepted your fate. You only hoped that this beast would dispatch of you swiftly and painlessly. You closed your eyes tight as you waited for the blow to come…

 “Are you alright?”

It was a voice, not a claw, that came to you. It was soft, light, comforting. Not what you expected, to say at least. You were still frozen in fear, shock, and cold, so you didn't even really react to the voice at first, at least in a way that whoever owned it could see. So it came again.

“Goodness, the thing is shivering…” it mumbled, the voice gradually getting louder as it approached, you assumed. You felt something shift underneath you, before you were suddenly lifted off the ground! You opened your eyes in a stupor, looking around in the darkness to see what was happening, but you couldn't make anything out. You had to rely on your sense of touch, and the cold scales beneath you told you that the dragon had picked you up!

“Don't fret, little one, I won't hurt you…” the soft voice came again, most certainly the dragon at this point, as it carried you deeper into the cave. While you still had some apprehensions about being carried deeper into the dark, claustrophobic outcropping, you really did believe that this dragon wouldn't hurt you. It was all you could really do...

The gentle stomps of the dragon as it carried you deeper into the cave were almost rhythmic in a way, an odd sort of lullaby. You were certainly tired and worn out from the storm; it almost felt like you could fall asleep right in this paw, but you fought off the urge. You were still dripping wet and freezing! Not the best conditions for a nap. Thankfully, your short journey would soon come to an end, the careful beast gradually setting you down onto a floor deeper in the cave.

You sat there for a moment in darkness, wondering what was going to happen. Then, you heard a puff of breath and flame, and suddenly, the fire pit in front of you bursted into life. It didn't allow much light into the cave, but it let you see exactly what you were now staying with.

The crimson red scales of the dragon’s body extended into what felt like infinity. They provided a nice contrast for its cream-colored underbelly, which looked quite soft and round itself. Clearly this dragon had a generous diet! Its snout was typical of the dragons you had seen in story books and the like, but you didn't expect a pair of curved horns rounding its ears. A comforting smile framed its muzzle, and after seeing what you were dealing with, you were comforted even more. This was not the dangerous, violent beast you had been told of in stories.

“Are you feeling okay?” The dragon asked, ushering you closer to the fire, which you gladly did. It wasn't until you were so close to a source of heat that you realized how cold and shivering you actually were; you wouldn't have been surprised if your body had become numb from the constant battering of rain! You nodded to the dragon's question as you moved closer to the fire, trying to warm up as much of your body as possible.

You watched the dragon move more of its body out of the shadows, eventually coming to rest at the side of the fire, somewhat coiled around it with its massive, long body. Its head rested near you, its occasional exhaling helping to warm you up and dry you as well. “That's good to hear. You were positively shivering at the mouth of my cave...please, do enjoy the fire. What is your name?”

You told the dragon your name, and it nodded in affirmation. It's quite a lovely name. “You can call me Kayla.” she responded.

“Dragons have names?” You asked, in a bit of childlike innocence that seemed quite adorable. Kayla found it that way as well, letting out a hearty, smokey chuckle before responding. “Of course we do. Our names are actually quite long, but we don't expect those that aren't dragons to pronounce or remember them properly. So we have short ones as well.”

“I'm sorry if that was a stupid question,” you continued, “I just always heard of dragons as... beasts. Powerful, voracious, unforgiving. I was so hesitant to even come in your cave in the first place, miss.”

“A reputation sadly deserved. We are predators, after all, and predators have to do some things that most of them don't want to do. I consider myself a protector of this forest, however, always willing to help out someone in need... And you were certainly in need of a place to wait out that storm.” You watched as Kayla started to shift, coiling more around you and nudging you a bit closer to the fire. You felt her scales brush against your back and, when she was done, you were able to recline back onto the side of her belly; she was plush and soft, just like a pillow. For a reptile, cold-blooded, she was quite warm! You were still shivering, though, even as you leaned back against her and let her body embrace you.

You just laid there for a while, trying to catch a bit of rest. But you were still soaking wet, and no matter how soft and warm Kayla's embrace was, you were going to stay cold until that water dried. It felt like an hour passed before either of you said anything, but eventually Kayla's head curled around, the dragon nudging you with her snout. “Goodness, you're still drenched…” she said with a motherly tone. “I don't really know what else I can do for now. The fire is roaring, I'm sharing my body heat...unless…”

“Unless?” You asked, looking up at your new protector. The dragon wore a nervous expression on her face as she looked at you, almost like she was blushing!

“Well...it's technically possible, but...you would have to trust me. And...not laugh.”

“Laugh? And...I guess I would have to trust you. I don't really have many other choices…” you responded, shaking some of the water off to show Kayla that you still were absolutely drenched. Kayla blew a few extra flames onto the fire, before her head craned back to look at you.
“Well...I guess you can always say no.” After that, you felt her shift behind you, getting up on her thick legs and walking past you to the right. With the flames crackling high and bright, you were able to see all of her massive, wonderfully soft form as she lumbered past you, her tail eventually sliding past, although not without curling around you for a few seconds! You watched as she slowly got down onto her back, her clawed back feet pointing towards you and her tail coming out from underneath her, trailing off into the darkness. “Come over, let's get started…”

You weren't sure what Kayla was planning, but you listened to her all the same. You got up off the ground, still shivering as you slowly walked over to her. You couldn't help but notice how plush her haunches were, her tail adopting a bit of that extra fat as well. She just looked so soft, so large, like a queen size bed!

Then you saw what she was implying. Framed right between her thick thighs and her tail was a ruby red slit - slightly wet, and most importantly, huge. At least, compared to your size! You slowly made your way over to it, not exactly sure what she wanted you to do with it.

“Go ahead, don't be shy... I know it's a bit weird, but it's the warmest place I can think of for you right now.” Kayla reassured, spreading her legs just a bit further to give you as much access to her nethers as possible.

Soon, you found yourself standing only a few inches away from Kayla's cavernous vagina, the dim firelight from behind enough to just make out the finer details of her insides. You hesitated to do this, but there was no other option, honestly…

You hesitantly reached out to the slit with a hand. It made contact with flesh, and you felt Kayla shiver around your fingertips as they moved between those folds. Her embrace was wet and sloppy and slimy in a way, but it was also wonderfully warm and soft. You thought she had clenched around you and pulled you deeper, but in fact, it was just your body pushing deeper and faster than your brain could keep up with. In the blink of an eye, you were arm-deep in her folds, shivering still as you felt your skin tingle pleasantly as it came back to life with the warmth surrounding it…

Your other arm slipped in almost as easily, bringing your face right up against the slit. You still weren't quite sure about doing this, but with as much of you already inside of her as there was, you had to push forward. Plus, she was starting to reflexively clench around your arms. You could hear her soft moans bouncing off the walls of the cave as her body started to pull you deeper, one clench pushing your head into the soft, wet, warm embrace of her nethers…

*Shlrrp!*

The scent of feminine arousal dominated your senses as you felt those warm walls tight around your head, your neck now fit comfortably inside the canal of the dragoness. Her clenches had lifted the other half of your body off the ground somehow, leaving half of you awkwardly hanging outside of her pussy as you pressed deeper. The warmth and heat around you felt amazing, and as Kayla got more and more aroused from the whole experience, it would only continue to raise the temperature inside! So you pushed forward the best you could, your shoulders and chest easily slipping inside those lubricated folds with minimal effort. You could feel the walls around you tightening more and more as Kayla started to get even more aroused; the more of you that was inside of her, the quicker the rest of you would follow! After being caught in the freezing rain for so long, her warm, pillowy and embraced around your entire body was simply fantastic. Only your legs were missing out on the warming experience at this point, and Kayla was more than willing to rectify that fact.

“Just a bit more, little one~” she advised, her voice surrounding you and taking on almost a motherly tone as she clenched once more, hearing the fruits of her efforts in a series of wet noises from her loins as your legs slipped inside. Finally, you felt that softness slip over your feet, and then you were at rest, warm, and safe.

For a few moments, anyway. It certainly felt like forever, wrapped in that wonderful embrace, absolutely everywhere on your body...but in real time, it wasn't. It was more like a few minutes before something opened up in front of you: the entrance to the womb. With just your head poking out into it, you could already tell how roomy it was compared to the tightness of her vagina: Although that certainly didn't mean it was as big as your standard room! The walls still caressed and clenched around you as more and more of you slid out, but it wasn't painful or uncomfortable. It was safe, embracing, soft in its own special way. It felt like home, and now you understood why Kayla wanted to put you in there.

When you thought about exactly where you were, your legs still sliding out of her cervix to join the rest of your body, it was still a bit weird. But if you put all of that aside, it was a rather lovely place to be. You curled up snug and tight inside of her room as your legs slid into the chamber, already feeling quite exhausted from the trip and the constant stimulation of the walls around you. They were certainly trying to lull you to sleep, and you were more than willing.

Kayla watched as you traveled up inside of her, eventually seeing the little bulge you made in her lower belly go still. She knew exactly why it did so, and she was feeling quite tired herself.

“Good night, little one. I will let you out in the morning~” she said as she blew out the fire next to her, listening to the rain batter her cave as she dozed off to sleep herself...

Kayla helps out a wandering little one caught in a storm...
