Yes, I love the moral conflict. Maybe some flash back as to how this arrangement was reached. or why she did the these things to her fellow penguins...What if someone finds out? Lots of places this could go.

Hmm in the last 23 pages, you can see why she does this. Well, near the beginning anyway. In shorts, she was basically left behind by them to this very same predator

To me, that's just the "last straw" The end of a long series of events which drove her to even consider doing such a thing. Furthermore, once she got away from the edge of the ice shelf, she'd be safe and there'd be nothing to compel her to return with the others in tow. No, this speaks to a longer chain of abuses, betrayals and disappointments that allowed her to see the sealioness's offer an opportunity to get rid of those who had hurt her. A camel's back doesn't break with just one straw.

They cared for her in the beginning, I think she just never thought about it or thought that if she didn't do it. She'd be forever hunted by a Predator
