An interesting concept.
In my amateur opinion; a slime predator would probably be overwhelmingly strong in the "devouring" category, due to it's stickiness and resistance to blunt force, but would be susceptible to being slurped up like a bowlfull of jello by a more powerful opponent.
Can't wait to see where you go with this. :D
