It's much more distinct from Peach herself, and suits Bowser's general attitude and feel better.

Maybe it’s just me having watched too much game grumps, but I feel like the most distinct noise anyone would hear from that stomach, even through the mass of people, and the gurgling and groaning, is that nightmarish (if muffled) “HELLO” from toad.
