"As it turns out, making a claim to the throne of the largest kingdom with nothing but a small band of loyal knights tends to not go well, especially if your battle strategy is just 'be better at fighting'. Unfortunately for our would be throne claimer, the castle far better guarded then she anticipated, and the current royalty decided to make an example of her at the years end feast to dissuade any other potential "Lost bloodlines" from popping up."
