This is actually a bit of a reference to the lore of the game. In the story, Pricia goes off to kill Valentina, but when she comes back she's been possessed by her. Since it all happens off-screen and the cards referencing it are vague, I figured I'd offer up my own interpretation of what went down.

It's a card game, the company writes an accompanying story for the cards.
